Ro Main’S is a native of the south of France. Born into a music-loving family, he has basked in sound from his infancy… and had his first “lucky break” with an early initiation into the mix by accompanying his DJ father, selecting and broadcasting music in clubs, on the radio and for private parties during his childhood. From this young age, Romain’s grasped how to reach out to his audience and, in doing so, mastered the bootleg; linking one piece of music after another, modifying and superimposing tracks, or mixing a track with an a cappella recording. With creativity and inventiveness, Ro Main’S uses specific equipment or computers to completely rework original tracks.
In 2001, he caught the techno bug and began his DJ-ing career in earnest.  Adapting his expertise to diverse electronic beats, Romain’s joined several friends at the local “Hotel de la Musique” in Marseille where, after experimenting with several genres, honed his own style and selection towards techno and minimalist beats.  
Passionate about his music with all his time spent on the decks, Romain’s performed at several clubnights and festivals, developing his name on club scene. He has played at various events in the south of France – including the highly rated MISS AIRIE, RYKKK'S, WILLY REAL, DAVID PRAP, VAN DID, LOX D and FUNKBRAINER nights to name but a few. 
Romain’s is a member of the XLR UNITED collective, along with XTATIK and LITTLE BIG MAN (the former resident of Fiiire - the famous Marseille clubnight) - a collective that has crisscrossed the clubs and festival scene of the southern France, as well as the radio waves in the region of  the Var for almost ten years.  
A confirmed DJ, passionate about his sound, Romain’s will make you dance and move until dawn and beyond!! 


Through experiences, we tell our stories, shape our personalities, and build our perception of life.

We thus also become subject to sudden and unpredictable changes of moods and to whims and caprice of life. Like the planet Mercury, we split into two. Our one-half freezes in endless darkness, while the other half glitters with a perfect shade of orange under the rays of our one and only sun. We thus become the Mercurials. We live through different tones of life, swinging from ice to fire.

Certain life experiences evoke certain emotions, and these emotions, at once, push thoughts to the surface - thoughts that puncture our life. An experience thus turns into an anchor that we hold fast and remember forever.

The ceaseless battle that we fight with ourselves, creating this Mercurial cacophony. In the end, it is all about our story that resonates throughout the universe, carving out a piece of art from this formless, anarchic background.
