Mr E. Roach (E for Ethan) is one of three members of a quirky alternative rock combo called Mystery Roach. 
Ethan and his buddies Ezra 'Loskop' van Roach and Elvin Roach III played on the Jo'burg alternative music scene in the late 80's, including the historically significant 1987 Free People's Concert and the now legendary venue Jameson’s. 
The band drew inspiration from the South African counter-culture movement of that era, as well as from F. Zappa and a host of other creative influences. 
Disbanded prematurely under apartheid. Reunited 33 years later to pick up from where they left off – despite the fact that the three Roaches now live in Bristol UK, Auckland NZ and Cape Town SA respectively.
