Several years ago, I was on a business trip to Nairobi.  A couple of weeks later the attack on the Westgate mall happened.  At the time I was in the process of writing an espionage novel that took place throughout the world and parts of Kenya.  When I returned from that trip, I added a chapter that described that attack and how an American CIA agent who happened to be in that mall during the attack helped save a group of innocent children and parents who were trapped there.
