Roam Recordings welcomes Barcelona artist Undo back to the fold with his superbly crafted and moving Bird Without Wings EP. The title track is a thoughtful and provocative work of blissful electronics complimented by the slightly darker 80s influenced Espacio Sideral.

The EP is backed by two excellent remixes from Roam alumni Curses and Rigopolar. After his huge remix of Tronik Youth's Tunnel of Hate Rigopolar returns to give Bird Without Wings a mesmerizing shoe gazing remix perfect for melting into outer space. Rounding out the EP is the always impeccable Curses who mixes rock, 80s, and XTC into a heavy and beautiful take on Espacio Sideral.

Based out of Berlin and helmed by Matthias Speck (aka BACK FOR GOOD) @back-for-good-1 , the Turn It Down Music label has been turning heads on a consistent basis since it first emerged in 2017. A home for some impressively chosen musicians, it’s already played host to works by key electro and techno players such as Universo, DJ Overdose and Back for Good himself. On their latest they welcome Italian producer Alessandro Parisi into the fold, who impresses courtesy of the quite exceptional rave-heavy sounds of Crystal Tears. 

BACK FOR GOOD´s remix takes all that’s great about the original, before Speck leaves his own inimitable stamp on it with a gnarly baseline of the sort you just don’t encounter too often. If you’re up for something different this weather, consider Turn It Down’s latest to be just the ticket.

Italian producer Dino Lenny is the Fine Human Records label head who has been making music since the 90s. He's remixed huge names like Missy Elliott and Timbaland and has been collaborating with everyone from Madonna to Wu Tang Clan to Seth Troxler & Dixon. He has been named "A wizard of electronic music" by the Chemical Brothers, played live with Underworld, released music on the likes of Innervisions, Diynamic & Correspondant, and is currently signed to Ellum. 

For his debut release on Roam Recordings Lenny delivers a stunning EP titled 'Tokyo'. The original mix showcases Lenny's original vocals woven into a dance balad that could easily fit into a classic set of 80s electronica. The Black Mami remix strips down the original vocal with a hypnotic rendition beating with pulsating arpeggios. Long time Roam alumni Damon Jee returns to deliver a huge remix that elegantly bangs out the original melodies and stylish electronics of the original.

It’s a great honor for Throne of Blood to announce our latest signing, the legendary Justin Robertson. A veteran and pioneering personality within the UK electronic music underground for close to 30 years, he brings an utterly distinct music point of view to the label family.

On the My Sweet Machine EP, Robertson returns to form with his vaunted Deadstock 33s project (Skint, Gomma, Darkroom Dubs, Optimo Music, Batty Bass, Tigersushi, Paper Recordings Is it Balearic), turning in four original slices of slow-motion machine funk built for the dancefloor. “Axial Age” starts things off with an arpeggio that sounds like “Crockett’s Theme” gone dark, body music for goth ravers. “My Sweet Machine” maintains some of the menace but lightens the mood. “No Thing Ness” ups the tempo, its rhythmic drive tethered to the dancefloor by a heavy bassline and wonky synths. “Van Van Mojo” rounds out Robertson’s originals with an off-kilter house groove purpose-built for festival dancefloors. Closing out the EP is a storming remix from long-time friend and collaborator Moscoman (Disco Halal, Diynamic, Life & Death). The Berlin-based Israeli revisits “My Sweet Machine” stretching the groove and transforming it into a head-spinning psychedelic trip.

Legendary Hungarian party promoters Secret Factory invite Occam to take care of the second release on their fledgling Secret Fusion label. It comes bolstered with remixes by the label bosses themselves as well as Curses and La Mano.

Occam is a life-long drummer who has been in various bands and involved with making plenty of albums. He has played clubs and festivals from the UK to Russia and has been part of BBE artist DJ Bootsie’s live act for more than a decade. From hip hop to techno to ambient to Latin, he can do it all and all with his own unique sense of rhythm.
His compelling original here is ‘The Dark Slide,’ a driving bit of late night dark disco that comes with colourful melodies. A bold lead synth line goes ever higher while elastic drums get your body moving. It’s a track to step things up in the middle of the set and will do so with real style.

Berlin based New Yorker Curses is known for blending rock & roll with the darker side of disco, his own ghostly vocals and guitar with flashes of EBM and post punk. Here he layers in edgy chords and prickly drums that are driven by slapping hits. It’s raw and energetic with subtle 80s vibes that make it all the more standout. 

Secret Factory are pioneers of the underground in their native Hungary and can play at any point in the night thanks to their well-informed sound and vast array of experiences. Their remix is a gloriously cosmic one that surges on rugged bass and expansive chords and flies you through the cosmos. 
Last of all is La Mano, an Anglo-Italian who mixes up Italo disco with 90s house and prog to great effect. His deeper version is a haunting one filled with suspense and pensive celestial melodies that will light up the darkest of dance floors.

Occam - The Dark Slide (Secret Factory Remix) Secret Fusion

From the cold lands of Saint Petersburg, Calypso welcomes to the family newcomers “Radial Gaze”. In this Ep the Russian duo makes clear that there is nothing cold about their music but quite the contrary their music is full of voodoo trance and mamba jamba.
Label boss Iñigo Vontier takes on the remix from Orchid Flake to peak hour times with a hypnotic bass line and psychotics modular synths and percussions.
