This is a piece about getting centered in the midst of life on life’s terms. The piece opens with a strong groove that reflects being alive and present in the midst of life. The piece ramps up in energy and minor pentatonic phrasing that reflects the rising presence of tension in daily life. Then the piece drops into a solid, simple refrain that reminds us where we started and wraps up with a sense of confidence

Listening to the suggestions of the great Milana's Piano,
 I imagined a smoky and crowded American jazz clubs where they perform an amazing pianist, along with a  amateur sax player and a double bass player... :-))
The final applause is not self-congratulatory but serve only to re-create the atmosphere.

There is no love story that is unique, yet no love story is the same. My love happened to be deeply intertwined with music and with my husband. When he asked me to improvise different feelings on my piano, I didn't think it would end up as a story of our life: from the anticipation of the first date, from the surprise and joy of new relations to the moments of doubt and fear, disgust and anger, followed by guilt, sadness and contemplation. But above all it always comes down to trust and... 

LOVE! The twelfth, concluding track from my new album "Yet Another Love Story", telling the story of my love and music. I let my piano play and it sang me this song, jazzy and romantic, swinging and rocking, lush harmonies and memorable motifs.

I present my interpretation of a very beautiful song written in 1941 by George Fragos, Jack Baker and Dick Gasparre. It was a hit for many artists over the years including Dinah Shore and Frank Sinatra. It was also used in the Fritz Lang directed 1952 movie "Clash By Night" from which the photo is taken.

“But Beautiful” was composed by Jimmy Van Heusen and Johnny Burke in 1947. It was introduced by Bing Crosby in the movie Road to Rio. But Beautiful has been a favorite of pop and jazz vocalists for generations. Billie Holiday included her gorgeous version in her amazing album Lady in Satin. It has also been recorded by Tony Bennett, Bill Evans, Barbra Streisand, Shirley Horn and Stan Getz among others.

 My father and grandfather lived right off of Jamaica Ave in the vicinity of Queens Village/Bellerose.  I grew up north of the City in various small places in NY State.
I've earned foreign and domestic royalty income from network TV and radio. I've opened for internationally known jazz  icon(Dave Brubeck)with drummer Steve Chanin (Steve is mentioned in the book "Otis Redding - An Unfinished Life, because of his connection to Phil Walden of Capricorn Records), and bassist Mack Gordon, both of Macon, GA , worked with Jaimoe,  worked with Donn & Larry Finney who were the horn section for the Gregg Allman Band circa 1982, worked with Irv Cox (tenor saxophonist with Louis Jordan & session player for Jefferson Starship on their hit Miracles 1975), worked with Baatin  www.baatin.com(multi-instrumentalist member of Parliment/Funkadelic).
