This song was birthed over one day. While I was praying on my way to work in the early hours of the morning this song started to take shape. I was humming some of it through work too. On my way home it started to solidify. As soon as I got home I pretty much started to record it, tweaking as I did a few takes.

There are three defining elements to this song:
~ God(creator of all things) singing over us
~ Deliverance
~ God's goodness

As a Christian I've been finding that the closer I walk with God the more I get to know his goodness in hard times... things like God singing over you. To me singing is quite a personal thing... close to the heart, hard to share, but beneficial to share. Here's God singing over me and my family his desires for us. Even though I have not experienced hearing this personally (hearing God singing). I feel very strongly that he was telling me that this is what he is doing at this time over us. So at this moment, it is by faith that I am hearing God sing over us. 

There is a part in the bible where in love God rejoices in song over his people. There is something very special about this.

There is another part in the bible where Jesus teaches his followers how to talk with him. Part of the prayer says 'Lead us not into hard testing but deliver us from the evil one'. So I believe God is desiring we be delivered from the evil one and his destructive and deceitful ways. The bible says that our enemy came to kill, steal and destroy...
But Jesus came to give us life... life abundantly.
