This song came about one day as I just started to write down my emotions. In my younger days it was the only way I knew how to deal with emotions. I would just write without allowing my mind taking over. So my purest emotion would roll out. I call thus ‘I Wrote my Feelings Down Today’.

Second track on a loose concept album I did for the RPM challenge 11 years ago. Essentially, Father's Gun is one man confronting the mistakes of the old ways after the end of the world. We have destroyed society though some horrific mechanism, perhaps nuclear war, and our protagonist travels the wasteland with his guitar looking for other musicians, hope and a chance for some of us to start anew. I used a pretty convoluted recording process, but I like the songs, I hope you do too.
