I start a new project from scratch. I try to mix my progressive rock influences with electronic sound to create a kind of original mix. It is quite difficult to select a specific genre for me but I hope to create a good feeling to my listener.

This was after DanikaXIX's Twitch watchalong of Dreamgirls when I made two vocals really quickly inspired by that experience.  Of the two, Kick Rocks is where I consciously tried to do an Eddie Murphy impression as a laugh, and then She's Got A Great Face For Philosophy (CCCV) is more done in my own voice.  The latter got an Alpha Remaster a number of months later to get rid of the awkward 2 second gap after "modus vivendi"

The closest I've come to an R&B vocal.  I didn't expect that writing the lyrics it just started to make sense.

This started as a group of 5 loops, all increasing in intensity, for a game made for the pirate game jam on itch.io.  

I really loved the hook when I made it and I knew I wanted to use it in something but it sat alone for a few months as just 4 bars and a basic drum track while I worked on other projects.  I felt like doing a boss battle theme and decided to finish it up when the opportunity for the game jam appeared.
