I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer.  I remember the afternoon I got the call from the hospital.  I sat down in my workshop and stayed motionless for about an hour.  I was lost and confused.  I've always been fit and strong all my life and now I was feeling weak and vulnerable.  As the days and weeks went by I started to realize that IT ISN'T OVER, it was just different.  I also started to think about what I wanted to do with my life, however long or short that may be.  I've always had dreams.  I've been writing songs for international development agencies including the UN for years but I always wanted to have a hit song on the charts.  It seemed appropriate for me to write about my aspirations and at the same time reach out and encourage others.  It isn't over until the fat lady sings as they say.  I want this song to speak to anyone who has had a yearning to do something cool but for a myriad of reasons has been hindered from this.  I especially want to speak to older people who think their ship has sailed, it probably hasn't.  You're probably as talented as you've always been'.  Now is the day, have a go, don't take your dreams to the grave or at least die trying.

This song was written by Rob Greaney and assembled with a group of friends.  
It's a sort of sad song about the distance between the living and the dead and a longing to be together but unlike most songs of this kind it's sung from the grave.  It's not meant to be morbid but it's certainly sad though the feel of the song is epic.  You'll have to hear it to understand.
