About "Sleep Train":
With my little sister, when we’re about to go to bed, we say: ‘all aboard the sleep train.’ My sleep train is often a recurring journey for me — a quest through landscapes both unknown and strangely familiar: a lost forest where a cursed village is inhabited by peasants struck by misfortune, a river where I canoe on poisoned waters, a mountain whose endless path eventually leads me to the gates of another world — the very moment I wake up. I drew inspiration from excerpts of the soundtrack of the 1993 game MYST to compose this EP, as its universe and my dreams are not so far apart.

The year is 1995.
Stockholm. Anemon.
A small ambient club filled with smoke, nerves and the raw electricity of youth.
Two young men step onto the stage with synths that were too cheap, dreams that were too big,
and absolutely no idea what they were about to unleash.

But somewhere in that first improvised performance —
between the tension, the chaos, and the beautiful mistakes —
the two arpeggios were born.
Our signature.
Our blueprint.
The sound that would follow us through life.

Pek — the impulsive spark.
Pax — the calculating architect.
Together we were Pekpax, two kids playing like the whole universe was holding its breath.

Fast-forward nearly thirty years.

A few weeks ago Pax posted a simple “Work Pattern” in our Discord.
Just a small clip —
but the moment I heard it, I was back in Anemon.
Back to the smoke, the neon, the adrenaline.
Back to SpaceMaze.
The name we gave our endless jams back when everything was new and nothing was impossible.

Pax dug up screenshots of the original arps from that night.
And suddenly the maze reopened.

Ensonic shaped Part I.
Pax crafted Part II.
I built Part III —
the turning point where the maze deepens, widens, breathes.
And when Swampy joined in, the final ending came alive and sealed the whole journey.

This isn’t just a track.
This is a time capsule —
a resurrection of who we were,
and a celebration of who we’ve become.

Three decades of friendship.
Three decades of sound.
Three decades carried by the same two arps that started everything in a tiny club in Stockholm.

Spacemaze Juno - Part III

Momentum 

I woke up around 1 AM and couldn’t fall back asleep.
My now hectic life has stolen almost all of my own time — the time where I can just sit in front of my DAW and create music, quietly, without pressure.

I got out of bed, even though I knew I should’ve tried harder to sleep.
In just a few minutes, I built an eight-bar Work Pattern with everything I needed to shape a track later.
Then I shut it down and went back to bed, managing another hour or two of sleep.

When a small window opened up during the day, I opened the project again.
And the track simply continued from where I had left it.
No plan, no structure — just pure instinct.

Momentum was born in that moment.
A track created on the move, in a brief second of stillness that just happened to appear.
