One of the most exciting bass music acts to emerge in recent times, DeadExit are respected house DJ Sammy Porter and renowned selector, producer and broadcaster Crissy Criss. Set for even bigger things in 2015, the duo have already made a name for themselves with edgy remixes and unique original productions setting the bass music scene alight.

First set up as a bass music project for Crissy Criss to keep separate from his Drum and Bass production, DeadExit has flourished as a fresh, upcoming act in its own right. Joining forces with House minded Sammy Porter, DeadExit has quickly made the bass music scene take notice, with salvo after salvo of reworkings and original productions suddenly dominating dance floors and airwaves alike.

An unstoppable creative force, DeadExit are some of the busiest producers around, constantly releasing unofficial remixes for their favourite tracks. Reworking anything from Calvin Harris to Rudimental, or Chase and Status to Matrix & Futurebound, DeadExit have released a mass of free downloads, featuring their own unique spin.

What’s more, DeadExit’s unofficial remixes have led to official remix work from some of bass musics most important figures. With a discography including official remixes for the likes of Cookie Monsta, Dems and grime legend DDoubleE, DeadExit have been called on from some of the very best acts in the bass music scene. Elsewhere, the duo have given tunes from other genres the Dubstep treatment, putting their spin on tracks such as Drumsound & Bassline Smith’s ‘Atmosphere’ on NewState Recordings.

Not just confined to remixes, DeadExit’s original productions have also seen them release on a range of prestigious imprints, including Doctor P and Flux Pavillion’s Circus Recordings. First featured on the imprint’s annual album ‘Grand Central’ in 2014 with 'Love Me ft Dems', DeadExit have also earned original releases of their own on.

Their first solo release with Circus Records, 'Soundboy Killer' began a new chapter of the duo’s rise. The highly anticipated follow up to the track, ‘Snake', was heavily supported by Benga - and even dropped by Funtcase in front of 14,000 Belgian ravers. After two months of radio and rave play, ‘Snake' soon found its way on to the legendary Datsik’s label FirePower in July 2014, cracking the Beatport Dubstep Track Top100.

Thanks to an impressive amount of tunes in such as short space of time, DeadExit have regularly earned radio play and support from the likes of Skream & Benga, Target, Wideboys and Eddy Temple Morris. The duo were also a regular favourite of MistaJam’s prestigious Radio 1 and 1Xtra shows, regularly supplying mixes including the ‘Dubstep Download’ and 'Daily Dose of Dubstep' Mix

VEENMOL is a peak time and driving techno producer and DJ based in the Netherlands, known for his instantly recognizable aesthetic—a white coat, iconic sunglasses, and a gleaming “VEENMOL” golden chain. Working in many different genre's like hip hop and indie in the past, VEENMOL has found his home in the techno world and tries to incorporate influences from his past into his music.

Named after the peculiar insect known as the veenmol (mole cricket), VEENMOL draws a metaphorical connection between his artist persona and his namesake. Much like the insect, which thrives underground, VEENMOL aims to become a household name in the underground techno scene.

VEENMOL has already made a name, collaborating with established artists such as Patrick Scuro, Techmo, Jil Tanner & Daniel Levak. These collaborations have not only helped him grow as an artist but also solidified his place in the techno scene with tracks featured on major Spotify playlists like Techno Bunker, Electronic Circus, and Electronic Rising.

Jake - Sax:
Jake Heath is a twenty year old Saxophonist and Clarinetist from Northwest london. He initially started his music career on the clarinet but soon progressed onto the alto saxophone at the age of ten. Over the past ten years Jake has achieved both jazz and classical grade eight on the saxophone as well as ABRSM’s first performance diploma. Jake has performed with many bands within the London area; such as the famous National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and has played the Royal Albert Hall on two occasions, as well as many other venues.

Jack - Drums:
Jack has played drums for ten years, picking them up in his first year of high school. Whilst progressing in other musical areas outside of education, he was always involved in school/college orchestral and jazz bands playing drums and percussion. By the end of college he achieved grade eight distinction on drums and enrolled for the Audio Design course at Kent Uni which he is currently studying. He's had experience teaching drums with sheet music and is currently under a music scholarship with the University of Kent. His influences range from Dave Weckl and Dennis Chambers to more mainstream drummers like Chad Smith. Resultantly, Jack's musical fortes lie in jazz, fusion, funk and rock.

Rob - Bass:
After learning guitar at a very young age, Rob eventually found his instrument in his late teens. After a couple of years self-teaching and playing in various unsigned bands, Rob eventually took to the more academic side of music and achieved Grade 8 RGT Bass Guitar, Grade 5 Music Theory and also learnt Double Bass. With a broad range of influences, including progressive and experimental rock (King Crimson, John Zorn), jazz (Kit Downes, Miles Davis), alt rock (Radiohead, Incubus) and funk-rock (RHCP, Incubus), his style varies greatly and can change from lead bass to simple and supportive in a beat. 

Zack- Guitar:
Zack is a Northern Irish guitarist studying Music Technology and potatoes in Kent, and been playing guitar for six years. In this time has achieved his grade 8 Rockschool exam and played with a variety of bands, including the Ulster Youth Jazz Orchestra by the time he had finished sixth form. Drawing on a wide range of influences, from Blues (Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters Derek Trucks), Jazz (Wes Montgomery, Scott Sharrard), Funk (John Frusciate, Jimmy Nolan), and many more styles, giving him a broad range of styles to draw upon, allowing him to change from simple chord vamping to intricate solos with ease.


Joel - Vocals:
Joel embraced music at a very young age and has been singing ever since he can remember. Having previously been selected for London's Most gifted and talented, and attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School from the age of 10 for 3 years, opportunities arose for Joel to perform in the capacities of musical theatre, through to concerts at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall. In his mid-teens, Joel achieved Grade 6 in Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory. Since his classical training ended, he has continued to mould a more personal, individual style and sound. With a broad range of musical influences including Soul, Rock, Gospel, Funk, R&B and Jazz; he exercises his capacity to write music and draw upon various styles, whilst his versatile vocal ability is evident when watching him perform.
