Mark got introduced to the house music scene via old mix tapes from the Hacienda and that was it, he was bitten by the house music bug.

Mark’s passion for his music has progressed from Funk, Detroit Techno, Garage to the US/UK and European house music scene. A dedicated, versatile DJ with wide musical experience and knowledge capable of using creative mixing skills to motivate and control in a positive mode. Finding his home in the US/UK and European house scene citing influences from Graeme Park’s mixing style, creativity and music, he quickly found himself buying records and DJ'ing at private parties for friends and likeminded people.

After playing at various clubs in his home town he decided it was time to branch out, Mark first got recognition for his mixing skills when The Foundry in Huddersfield launched their DJ competition, where out of 200 or so entrants and 6 weekly heat's Mark mesmerised the judges with his inventive DJ skills and tricks so much so he was invited to play for them before the competition was even over! Then DJ magazine launched their prestigious Redemption DJ competition where Mark was picked to play at one of their Northern heats, he then went onto filling in for an ailing night called “Change” at Mint Club (Leeds) for residents Graeme Park & Buckley while they were away, within a short space of time he quickly turned things around alongside his brother Michael and under their stewardship the Change night started to become the talk of the town once again. Alas it wasn’t to last as a new club owner had other ideas. Just at that same time Mark started an exciting new London residency at the Arthur Baker owned Elbow Room in Islington where he was twice monthly resident for three years, playing to an up for it crowd where many TV stars would come and party, It was pretty hedonistic!

Production wise Mark collaborated with friends together under the name of “Collective Rhythm” to make the track “keep it coming” which got it’s first airing on Galaxy 105 when the then DJ Alex Pepper played it on his evening show but unfortunately couldn’t release the track due to not being able to clear the samples used in it.

One of Mark’s standout highlights was when he played at Love Leeds @ Lotherton Hall where 10,000 clubbers came together for one amazing festival. Mark and his brother Michael (Djing together under their alter ego “The Funky Punks”) Performed in the Kiss Da Fed arena to a 4,000 plus capacity crowd and rocked it!

Since then Mark has gone onto working for some of the biggest lifestyle brands in the business such as Hed Kandi and Federation as (“The Funky Punks” with his brother Michael Park), he currently hold’s some fantastic weekly residencies at (Propaganda - Nottingham) every Friday plus (Fuel - Hull) every Saturday while still working hard to spread the love and energy of this thing we call House music, as they say. House is a feeling!

Steve Sylvan started his Djing career from the age of 16yrs old, with a good friend, learning the music movement that was high at the time being UK Garage Music. Taking classics from Dj's such as DJ Luck and MC Neat as well as the Artful Dodgers and Wookie and learning the beat structure and mixing techniques that were required to take his career forward. 
From the age of 16 Sylvan and his friend became residents at the now moved Co-poration Night club in Sheffield - mixing UK Garage tracks Vinyl style, every Thursday evening which was part of an under 18yr old club night. This got him noticed and was asked to be the opening act on a special night featuring world star DJ Tim Westwood.
Also to add he secured a residency every Thursday night from the age of 18 at one of UK's famous night clubs Gatecrasher Sheffield, and this where his love became stronger for House music listening to other DJ's in the main hall mix and make the crowd almost hypnotized by what was playing. 
He from there has mixed his way round Sheffield and London playing bars and clubs with his new found love of House Music.
He then went on to host his own show every Tuesday night, mixing the latest and exclusive House, Deep House and commercial Dance on successful and growing internet radio station StylusRadio.com. Also having now an International status by DJing in Oslo(Norway) and Germany(Kiel), Steve Sylvan is ready to take and broaden his horizon's even further a sea.
