I started writing theme songs for friends and family as a remedy for a long creative dry spell. 
I try to keep them short and sweet, and I try to write them as quickly as possible.
 No second guessing. No concern for the ridiculous. In fact, the more ridiculous, the better. 
Its amazing that it can take me 4 years to write a song, but only 10 minutes to write a theme song. 
I love theme songs.
