The Last Attraction is a musical thriller about the murder of the blues scale. Who did it? The guitarist, the keyboard player, or the bass player? Was it the drummer masquerading as a musician? Did the Edge do it and pay off TLA to be the fall band? Or was it a groupie trying to steal the songwriting royalties? Maybe it was the producer? What about the arranger-doesn’t the name say it all? Could it have been the tambourine-shaking background singers in league with the flautist? Don’t expect things to be neatly wrapped up. Like a classic Film Noir, the band is all about mood and setting but has more loose ends than a Raymond Chandler novel.

Rob Armus was born in Liverpool, England, 1966 to an English mother and American father, grew up in Canada where he learned saxophone in school band, briefly studied jazz at Vancouver community college but mostly a self taught musician. Played jazz and blues saxophone in bars and nightclubs in and around Vancouver until moving to Amsterdam in 1992 where he had a  career as a jazz musician and composer. In 2005 he moved to Paris where he reinvented himself as a singer/songwriter/guitarist as well as playing jazz sax. Rob has recorded many albums as a leader and appears on many recordings as a sideman, his latest album Back to Belleville is available for download at https://realrob.bandcamp.com/
