About the cd:
For this episode we showcase Global Undergound arising from the underground into the huge success that it was moving into it's teens. For their 14th release we are taken on a progressive tour of Hong Kong with John Digweed, an awesome CD which was much loved by man. Massive shout out to James Wilson of Newcastle for sorting this, and also out to Michael McDonough from Sunderland for his efforts too. Of whom Digweed was a massive inspiration for and are both still to this day, huge fans.

I'm sure they aren't the only ones. So as always, turn it up... and enjoy the mix.

At just 28 years old, Joan Retamero has already shared the booth with the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Patrice Baumel, Nic Fanciulli, Idris Elba, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Mathias Kaden, Davide Squillace, Pig & Dan, dubspeeka and many more in clubs like Ministry Of Sound, EGG London, Amsterdam Dance Event and Metropolitano Rosario.

He has released music on important labels in the scene; like Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records, Hernan Cattaneo's SUDBEAT Music, Nick Warren's Hope Recordings, and DJ Mag Latinoamerica. One of his most important tracks, She Dreamed Through The Sky, was selected by Paul Oakenfold to be included in his prestigious compilation Sunset At Stonehenge, with music from U2, Hans Zimmer, Vangelis, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Prague, Empire Of The Sun and more.

Martín was born on December 9, 1997 in the coastal city of Mar del Plata, Argentina.

His path towards electronic music began in 2017 and he currently plays many local clubs in his hometown, slowly making a name for himself.  In addition to this, he has started producing original music of his own.

Warm, meditative atmospheres are the theme of many of Martin's selections, along with a focus on organic and progressive sounds that overflow with warm grooves and deep, hypnotic melodies.
