Special Request is the new rugged alias for house and techno stalwart Paul Woolford. Inspired by the unruly conventions of UK pirate radio stations, this project captures the raw energy and diversity of the illegal airwaves and uses this as a springboard of inspiration for a series of heavyweight productions that span from murky house through darkside techno to chaotic eye-of-the-storm hardcore/jungle tear-outs. The end results are incendiary.

With a master's degree in music production UK based producer Ben JAMMIN produces House music lending influences from sub genres such as Tech, Lo-Fi, Hip-Hop, Funky, Latin, Tribal and Bass. 

After studying music technology at A-Level his production desire started, constantly improving his craft for the art form he attended university in Sheffield and Leeds, bursting onto the nightlife scene playing all sorts of venues and festivals. Holding previous residencies at the O2 Academy Leeds (Projekt), Space Friday's (Paradiso) and Tank Sheffield (SuNKeN) helped him gain the knowledge of what to play out to a crowd. 

In his earlier career he completed work for some of the biggest events companies in the midlands and north of England such as Voodoo Events, Organised Chaos, DV8 Bass Face, Resolute Events, Lemonade Bangs and Loosedays but has now picked up traction for bookings under his own name, willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.

Sheffield venues played include The Viper Rooms, Steel Yard Kelham, Peddler Warehouse, Tank, Kettle Black, Signal/Fez, Forge Warehouse and Copa. In addition to many more including Ark (Manchester), NG-One (Nottingham), The Berlin Bar (Birmingham) and Social Club (Newcastle) just to name a few. Now residing in Nottingham, the message of his music puts emphasis on both good times and positive vibes.
