Here is my arrangement of "The Returned Sailor", a traditional folksong from Norfolk, sung by The Andover Museum Loft Singers, directed by Paul Sartin. Recorded live at the Whitchurch Folk Club, October 13th 2018.

I was playing around with some tunes and I realised that the bass vamp from Benny Golson's jazz standard, "Killer Joe", would work with the traditional dance tunes, "The Fiery Clock Face" and "The Gobby O!". So I've put them together and here's the result, played by me and my folk/sax band Sheepstealers (https://tinyurl.com/y2e3frpr). Carol is doubling on descant recorder and alto sax. We're augmented by the splendid Dave Allon on drums. Final mix by Nick Beere at Mooncalf Studio.
