Funny, I don't consider the definition of musician applies to me either, and I compensate for vocal limitations with expressive use of my voice. I don't know any of the rules expected in the songwriting process, never set out with any genre, follow no recipes, no roadmap, just go wherever the inspiration takes me, and that's the way I like, it means there is no limit to my creativity, no boundaries, no overthinking; the end relate, authenticity, integrity, it's all me. I'm getting the impression this may be your approach to, which is why I can immediately relate to your creations, an authenticity, stamped with your personality, not someone else's. Few listeners will get that, but I do; arouses my curiosity, the urge to listen to more!

Phonocene/Fonocene is an excerpt from my latest book 'Beginning and Other Tragedies/Inizi e Altre Tragedie'.
This track is voice only, a crescendo of pathos and anticipation, which I hope does justice to the theme.

Phonocene

We’ve recognised our sound
in this Phonocene.
We’ve shared significance
and a territory, a place to be.
While feeling and hearing
birds crashing into the sky
trees imploding, people
tearing apart and decomposing
we cry out our phonos
of pure joy and echoes of grief.

We walk this Phonocene
with our eyes closed, stuck
in between bewilderment and action.
What can we do but hold on
and be memory for one another?
What can we do
but belong to life?

Abbiamo riconosciuto il nostro suono
in questo Fonocene.
Abbiamo condiviso il significato
e il territorio, un posto in cui essere.
Mentre percepiamo e ascoltiamo
uccelli schiantarsi contro il cielo
alberi implodere, persone

Phonocene/Fonocene

I have a mind and soul that uses music as an extension to express itself.  I'll find the right keys or chords or just catch a vibe and things happen. I mix it down into a sonic symphony for my ear drums and a visceral voyage for the soul. It might not sound like what's on the radio or anything like your favorite band but I'm not trying to. I simply do what It is I can do best. I do me. Simple. Authentic. Raw. 

My sound is a mix of rock and electronic elements. I've been influenced by many types of music and you'll hear it all blend together nicely if I'm hitting my mark proper. My production methods are a mix of Ableton, my guitar, my midi keyboard, and my mind. Basic, but enough to do some damage.
