Welcome to Volume One of 4-Track Mind, a brand new series of live music events established featuring local musicians and raising awareness of charitable causes.

For our first event, we are going to be raising awareness of local charity Cyrenians. 20% of ticket proceeds will go towards their work helping the homeless to find a foothold, secure accommodation and feel valued within their local community.

Our line up consists of four emerging artists :

SEAL PUP
Originally from these shores but now Brighton-based, Seal Pup are a dynamic 4-piece incorporating influence from krautrock, prog-rock and shoegaze. Their dreamy alternative hooks transport you somewhere nostalgic and immersive, and they're never too far away from whisking you into one of their carefully crafted guitar solos. Tonally on point, percussively excellent, it will be a pleasure to have them in Edinburgh again!

HAMISH HAWK
One of Edinburgh's most exciting new musical talents, Hamish Hawk's 'gorgeous, erudite indie-pop' has drawn acclaim from the likes of BBC Scotland, BBC Radio 6 Music, as well as securing him a recent nomination for Scottish Album of the Year. He's a treasure of local music and we're chuffed to have him!

'When he plays, Hawk combines wild eyed surprise with an all knowing smile - not only does he look startled at his own turn of phrase, his lyrics take on new meanings once you feel you're already in on the joke. It's a great trick. And the tunes are GOOD.'
King Creosote

ROBBIE ORR
Based in Glasgow, Robbie Orr's music pairs a distinctive and soaring vocal with textured alt-pop progressions. As well as performing and recording his own music, Robbie runs Dukebox, a staple of the monthly music calendar and in its third year showcasing some of Glasgow's finest up and coming talent.

OLD MAN SOLOMON
The latest hair-brained scheme from local songwriter Josh Fuchs sees him assume alter ego Old Man Solomon fronting a new 4-piece lineup. Expect the usual dad jokes, sad tunes and sharp turn of phrase.
