Founded by Decka, as a Reggae Sound System back in 2004, Set It Off Sound has grown to be one of the most popular demands in their region featuring on majority of the big Reggae events and having a monthly slot on Caribbean City. Expanding in size they broadened the music genres they specialise in.

Set It Off have performed at a range of quality events ranging from Dj / Sound system events, Carnivals to privite functions such as Weddings, Christenings, Birthday parties ect… 

To date they have performed at events with the likes of Aswad, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Stonelove, Bass Odyssey, David Rodigan, Luv Injection, General Levy, Vivian Jones, Peter Hunnigale, Sandra Cross, Robbo Ranx, Young Lion & Stylo G some of the top names in their music genre.

Kirkledove Records is a production company owned by Drummer, Songwriter, Producer, Lyricist, Artiste Kirk 'Kirkledove' Bennett. The production label has been delivering work on the Reggae /Dancehall scene since 2004 but got major exposure and notoriety with the 'Dutch Pot' Riddim with the mega hit 'Tek weh yuhself' by Mr. Vegas. Since then many other Riddims have made it to the worldwide market from Kirkledove Records. In 2015 the label released: 'The Devil have a way' - Lady Saw, 'Healing of the Nation' - Patexx, 'Ruff Har Up - Koshens, 'Bad Gyal Wine - QQ and 'Style Dem Again' - Busy Signal on the Street Corner Riddim. Kirkledove Records starts 2016 with the release of an up tempo.

HE HAS WORKED WITH ALOT OF TOP MUSICIANS AND PRODUCERS SUCH AS DEAN FRASER , FIREHOUSE CREW, SAGITARUS BAND, MAFIA AND FLUXY, GUSSIE P , BLAKAMIX TO NAME JUST A FEW !!. HE GOT HIS FIRST BREAK WHILST WORKING WITH CLIFTON DILLON OF PIONEER MUZIK WHO WAS ALSO SHABBA RANKS MANAGER. DURING HIS TIME IN THE PIONEER CAMP, AN ALBUMS WORTH OF MATERIAL WAS RECORDED AT VETERAN PRODUCER GUSSIE CLARKE'S ANCHOR STUDIO. THE SINGLES , $10,000 DOLLAR REWARD AND JAMMING, WERE SMASH HITS IN THE SUMMER OF 1988, AFTER WHICH TIME PROMOTERS WERE REQUESTING HIM FOR SHOWS ALL OVER JAMAICA IN VENUES SUCH AS WARD THEATRE, REGAL THEATRE, TASTEE TALENT IN HALFWAY TREE, WALTER FLETCHERS BEACH , MONTEGO BAY, ADDISON PARK ,BROWNS TOWN ST ANN AND THE MOST PRESTIGE, STING 88, WORKING WITH ALL THE TOP ARTISTS OF THE DAY. THEN CAME HURRICANE GILBERT!! WHICH SERIOUSLY SLOWED THINGS UP. LOVINDEER WAS ALSO MASHING UP JAMAICA WITH HIS BIG TUNE WILD GILBERT AND A TOUR OF CAYMAN ISLANDS WAS ARRANGED. ROBBIE WENT ON THAT SUCCESSFUL TOUR WITH,LIEUTENANT STITCHIE ,JOHNNY P AND LOVINDEER . WHEN HE CAME BACK TO JAMAICA ,HE DID A FEW MORE SHOWS AND SOME STUDIO WORK AND THEN LEFT FOR ENGLAND THE FOLLOWING YEAR.ON HIS RETURN TO ENGLAND, HE FORMED HIS OWN BAND THE MYSTIC CREW ALONGSIDE HIS BROTHER ANDREW. WITH THIS BAND HE TOURED THE UK AND EUROPE, SUPPORTING ACTS SUCH AS BURNING SPEAR, SUGAR MINOTT, GREGORY ISAACS, MIKEY GENERAL ,DESMOND DEKKER, BERES HAMMOND AND MAXI PRIEST TO NAME JUST A FEW FROM THE LONG LIST. ROBBIE HAS ALSO BEEN VERY BUSY ON THE RECORDING SCENE IN THE UK AND HAS HAD MANY SINGLE RELEASES AND 3 ALBUMS TO DATE. HIS FIRST HIT WAS REBOUND ON THE MAFIA AND FLUXY LABEL WITH GLAMOUR KID WHICH DID VERY WELL IN THE REGGAE CHARTS,QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY SMASH HIT NOBODY BUT JAH.THIS PROMPTED OTHER UK PRODUCERS SUCH AS GUSSIE P, COUSINS, BLAKAMIX AND JETSTAR TO RECORD HIM. THE 3 ALBUMS TO DATE ARE SATISFACTION GAURANTEED RELEASED IN 2001 ON THE GUSSIE P LABEL ,THEN CAME JAH IS MY DEFENDER IN 2004, WHICH HE DID FOR BLAKAMIX AND MOST RECENTLY IN 2008, PROGRESSIVE PEOPLE ON THE SIP A CUP LABEL. CURRENTLY HE IS WORKING ON SOME BRAND NEW TUNES WHICH HE IS PRODUCING HIMSELF TO BE RELEASED IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE, SO WATCH THIS SPACE....... IT'S GONNA BE BIG!!!

DJ 745 is an independent reggae selector/journalist based in Leicester, UK who presents his Irie Jamms show on Leicester's Radio2Funky 95FM featuring an international selection of roots reggae, revival and dub along with the latest music news, artist interviews, album reviews and exclusive previews.

True to his name, DJ 745 has been a record collector/journalist of reggae music for over three decades and regularly spins music on his preferred format -7" vinyl. His vast collection of reggae spans five decades. He has travelled extensively to search for rare reggae vinyl to add to his collection. His initial love for reggae music began when he was a youth in 1990 when he heard an infectious beat blasting out of the world-famous Daddy Kool Records in London. This led to the purchase of his first reggae records by Eek A Mouse and Dennis Brown. The rest they say is history.

Over the years DJ 745 has travelled to Jamaica, Japan, America and throughout Europe regularly tracing back the origins of reggae music and revisiting reggae landmarks including the original location of King Tubby’s Studio in Waterhouse and Treasure Isle Studios in Downtown Kingston.  With a strong passion to help to preserve reggae music he has interviewed artists young and old including Bunny Wailer, Ken Boothe, Marcia Griffiths, Beres Hammond, Jah9, Raging Fyah, Micah Shemaiah, Morgan Heritage, Luciano, Tarrus Riley, Etana, Chronixx, Protoje, Busy Signal, Freddie Mcgregor, and Horace Andy.

In the earlier part of his music career, DJ 745 played on a number of community stations in Leicester, including Fresh FM and has also been involved in Restricted Service License radio stations including Juice FM, and Vision FM.  He has also been a guest DJ on BBC Radio Leicester and hosted weekly reggae shows on internet radio stations include Zion Highness and Reggaespace.com before working with World A Reggae on a number of projects including the Uprising Acoustic Sessions and a series of video interviews including ‘Reggae History Reasonings’.
