Bio:

Ruben Majuelo (aka Ruben Ruiz), music enthusiast based in Madrid and DJ since 2000. Throughout his career, he has not only released tracks on several digital labels but also shared the booth with top national and international artists such as Cristian Varela, Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Takaaki Itoh, Dylan Drazen, DJ Pepo, Pelacha, Abel Ramos, Ángel Sánchez, Oscar Akagy, Christian Millán, DJ Nano. He has performed in some of the most mythical clubs like Aixa Galiana, Evalon, Code Fabrik, Sonomascope, One Madrid, and he was Dj resident of Carpe Diem Club in Cantalejo (Segovia) from 2000 to 2012.

A few years ago, Ruben spent a long period in Chicago, where he immersed himself in the underground scene and visited legendary clubs like Spybar, The Mid, Primary, and Smartbar. That experience gave him strong influences from Chicago House and Detroit Techno, which still define his musical identity today.

Now, his sound is a blend of House, Tech-House, Afro-House, Techno, and 90s–2000s Remember/Dance music, always focused on powerful club sounds with the highest quality. His sessions are mostly performed on vinyl, delivering a pure underground vibe. Ruben is also recognized for his versatility and skills in transitions: from House to Techno, House to Tech-House, Tech-House to Techno, and Afro-House fusions that keep the dance floor connected and evolving.
