Heist, also known as Strider if you’re looking to go way back into his discography, has been dominating, innovating and revolutionising speaker bins for 20 years now. No matter the year, his tunes always felt relevant, yet discernibly his, and in many cases were integral in pushing the limits of the Drum and Bass spectrum a bit further and a bit deeper than the status quo. His sound has travelled the ins and outs of the Drum and Bass super-highway many times, maturing as it grew from its humble yet bad and bashy beginnings found on classics like ‘Company 7’, ‘Beetle juice’, ‘Philly Styler’ and ‘Iron Hide’.

Also a badboy DJ for just as long (longer than heist in fact - he was dj’ing in the early 90’s under a different synonym). It’s tunes like ‘Go to work’, Sleep in ya eyes and ‘Don’t hold back’ as well as his high-octane DJ sets, that propelled him into super-stardom way-back-when. And in the minds of many, solidified Heist as a bonafide legend resulting in too many collaborations, endorsements and appearances to list. 
Having graced the catalogues of many iconic, foundational labels like Playaz, Charge, Ganja, V, Digital Soundboy, Frontline, Full Cycle, Philly Blunt, Low down deep and Metalheadz! All one needs to do to understand why Drum and Bass royalty like Dillinja, Hype, and Goldie, took notice so early on is…listen. Listen to any of it! It’s as though Heist had the foresight to be as fastidious about what he released to others as he has been about what he releases on his own signature imprints, Sumo Beatz, Calypso and Co-Lab.

Receiving previous critical acclaim whilst engineering for DNB forefather and legend, Goldie, as well as on his own celebrated productions, Heist has found a home for most of his current output on two-time award-winning label, Low Down Deep Recordings. Big things are coming on the label from Heist, like the cheeky ‘Bug Patrol’ and also ‘Felt Rich’ both doing dance floor damage from a host of DJ’s and support on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM amongst other radio stations for both of these tracks and most likely more Heist bangers! Some exciting future projects are also in the works for a few labels that have yet to see the likes of Heist...The return of Sumo Beatz is also in store, with a bunch of ‘select cuts’ he has been just waiting to get out there on his own label. If history serves, there’s truly no telling what Heist will cook up next or how hard his freshly-brewed baselines will hit, but the future does look bright for the now DNB legend, to say the very least. With a plethora of music in the works as well as tour dates across Europe and the globe actively brewing in the cauldron, 2025 is looking deadly.

Moving to London from São Paulo eleven years ago, S.P.Y was quick to establish himself within the UK drum+bass scene. After six months of working with only basic equipment, S.P.Y’s natural talent for production saw his first ever release signed to Metalheadz in 2005, with a release on Hospital’s Medschool imprint soon following in 2006.  S.P.Y began collaborating with artists such as Marcus Intalex, Total Science, Kasra and DJ Marky. In 2009 S.P.Y released his first solo EP on Marcus Intalex’s label Soul:R and had releases on many other labels including Digital Soundboy and Innerground. 

The following years were immensely successful for S.P.Y, with Friction including five S.P.Y tracks on his MoS compilation and Andy C featuring four tracks on ‘Nightlife’. Proving his production quality and consistency in 2010 / 2011, S.P.Y delivered standout releases on Ram, Metalheadz, Critical, Shogun and Spearhead – Most notably the anthemic ‘By Your Side’. S.P.Y also took on high-profile remixes for the likes of Deadmau5, Claude von Stroke, LTJ Bukem, Chase & Status, Delilah and Zinc ft. Miss Dynamite, with S.P.Y’s own personal re-lick of Zero 7’s ‘In The Waiting Line’ becoming a signature in his live sets.

Signing to Hospital in 2012, his debut LP, ‘What The Future Holds’ was released to critical acclaim. The LP not only received significant support from fellow artists and topped online sales charts, but was also awarded the coveted ‘Best Album’ at the annual 2012 Drum & Bass Arena awards. S.P.Y backed up this release with a relentless tour schedule of Australia, the United States, Canada, Russia, Asia, New Zealand and Europe. 

S.P.Y’s skills behind the decks rival his studio talents and he delights fans with an educated blend of old school classics and fresh new beats. Always one to stay true to his roots, S.P.Y has a unique ability to bring his trademark underground sound to a worldwide audience. Alternating between beautiful, orchestral, musical sets and dark, rolling mixes, S.P.Y captures the emotions of the crowd. Whether he is playing at a high-profile festival or an intimate club show, S.P.Y always delivers.

In 2013 S.P.Y was again busy touring the world, playing at major festivals such as Tomorrowland, Global Gathering and Electric Daisy Carnival. He delivered successful remixes of James Zabiela’s ‘Perseverance’, Chris Malinchak’s ‘So Good To Me’ and Five Knives’s ‘All Fall Down’ on Red Bull Records. In addition to these achievements, S.P.Y was also selected to write, in collaboration with London Elektricity and Diane Charlemagne, the theme song for the 2014 Street Child World Cup. The track ‘I Am Somebody’ has helped to generate awareness and bring a new interest to Street Child World Cup, advocating for street children’s rights worldwide.

Moving into 2014 and S.P.Y is taking us ‘Back to Basics’ with his second LP. Released in two parts over the coming months, ‘Back to Basics’ draws inspiration from the deeper, darker sounds of drum+bass, and features collaborations with Total Science, Rene La Vice, and vocalists Diane Charlemagne, Grimm and DRS MC.

If any D+B artist can truly claim to be the “producers producer” then Carlos S.P.Y surely has a good case. If the comments on this album by his luminaries are anything to go by: "One of my fave producers" says DJ Hype, "Carlos back to his filthy best!" say Total Science, "There's only one S.P.Y” says Doc Scott.

Jungle Citizenz are a crew formed & based in Birmingham comprise of Craig Graham and Cheshire Cat MC.

It didn’t take long for ravers to like their sound and top producers from around the world have given them some fantastic support and advice, especially their very own mic controller Cheshire Cat . Cheshire travels around with the lads jumping on the mic from time to time. So the lads then decided to bring in Cheshire as a permanent fixture as his voice really lends itself perfectly to their sound . Cheshire is a vastly experienced mc with some of the biggest sound systems around the country and has worked with the mighty Leftfield, and has a platinum disc to prove his success and so  it was sealed Cheshire Cat was now a member of the Jungle Citizenz .

 They have had booking after booking as promoters get to know how these lads kick up a storm on the dance floor and are quickly becoming  the next big thing to come out of their home town of Birmingham .

Craig Graham  has around 20 years experience playing on the fringes of the scene and was one of the leading Dj’s on the legendary pirate radio station Starlight fm. Craig is the tech head of the crew and works on all formats and is the key to  new underground sounds.

Cheshire Cat born and bred in Birmingham,started chatting the mic in 1982 for local sounds like ITAL WARRIOR and NYAHTONE HIFI.

In 1988 Cat Joined LOVE INJECTION SOUND,Clashing with othe sounds like SAXON,SIR COXSONE and V-ROCKE.
In these clashes Cat would hold the mic and tear up the dance everytime,also clashing from yard like STONE LOVE,GEMINI,SILVER HAWK and JARO to name a few…

In the 1990′s Cheshire Cat got a record deal with SONY MUSIC releasing BITE THE DUST,and joined up with the Legendry LEFTFIELD. alongside Earl-16 touring all over the world and released RELEASE THE PRESSURE and CHANT OF A POORMAN
Cheshire Cat also worked with SIMPLY RED on NIGHT NURSE.

Cat has also had a Number 1 hit in the Reggae Charts and over 50 number 1s in Bhangra working alongside with top Asian artists such as Bally Sagoo,Malkit Singh and Sukshinda

2012 sees Cheshire Cat crossing over to the JUNGLE/DRUM N BASS scene and making an immediate impact working alongside top artists CHOPSTICK DUBPLATE crew Aries,Jacky Murda & Tuffist as well as Jungle Citizenz,Mr Williamz,Daddy Freddy,David Boomah,Congo Natty,
