This track is a reassembly of original field recordings made by :zoviet*france:, and used in their 2021 composition “Hidden by the Wall”. All of the source material, with the exception of a bit of dialog to recontextualize the piece, was recorded by :zoviet*france:, and then treated, decomposed, and remixed in our studio in March 2021.

The Shopping Mall Has Long Since Flooded

An extended / remix that incorporates elements from several tracks on the new lp "The Day 1982 Contaminated 1971", to be released by the Helen Scarsdale Agency on October 30.

Noice, Coak, And Pre-1982 Occurrences

We unearthed a little 4-track artifact from January of 1988 during the winter of 2015-16. From the label on the box, it was apparently recorded over a taped interview with Joseph Beuys. Some of the source material originally used in this piece was eventually employed again, in much more recent Fossil Aerosol recordings. 
The cassette tracks were digitized and a small portion remixed in January of 2016 .

The first Fossil Aerosol Mining Project audio recordings were made 30 years ago this year. In the observation of three decades of obscure, faked resurrection is the new CD “Revisionist History”. 

The recordings on this album are hybrids, created by the grafting of old artifacts onto new material using recently devised studio processes. New sounds of the past, articulated through the devices of an unimagined future.

The anniversary edition of Revisionist History is brought to you through a collaboration between Afterdays Media and The Helen Scarsdale Agency.
