This is an unedited recording of our live performance at the 6th Next Sound festival in Kyiv, in 2018.

I've played this set quite a few times this year now, but it was developed for the Flaming Pines Cafe Oto showcase with David Velez and Ben Finger.

Not really sure how to describe it, it includes loads of images and parts of pieces and recordings from the past two years.

Created yesterday from original recordings made on location under a bridge in Wester Ross, and in a hawthorn glade in north Northumberland.

It's Been a While

For each of the live shows on our five-date tour of Italy in October/November 2018, we adapted the performance to each of the very different venues. As well as the acoustic properties of the space and the PA system, we incorporated something of each venue's character, and at Mikasa, it was the creaky stage, which opens and closes this recording.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible: Daimon (Simon Balestrazzi, Paolo Monti, Nicola Quiriconi), who organised and managed the tour, as well as performing their own fine shows, and to Antonio Altini at Mikasa for the attention to detail.
