"Recitation" was featured in ASOT episode 083, 084, 085, 086, 087, 089, 095 and the Transa remix of "My Spirit" was featured in ASOT episode 113 (with Lange as a guest DJ).

"Recitation", my breakthrough track in 2002-2003. Made quite a buzz with the help of Misja Helsloot and Armin van Buuren. Armin had the Misja Helsloot Remix as "Tune of the Week" 5 times in a row and opened his NYE gig in NY with it. It opened alot of doors to me. I got invited to play at clubs, free shots in the bars, hang out with ALOT of cool people. The "Original Mix" never made it onto the vinyl sadly, but had a life of its own through FTPs and Napster back then. The "Radio Edit" got used as a theme-track for a event called Tranceatlantic in Stockholm, Sweden. My biggest track to this point, now available for all of you to enjoy, legally!

"Tribute To Gorgeous Mix". In 2009 i decided to pay tributes to the best club me and my brother, @ericlidstroem ever visited. Club Gorgeous was actually named Club IN and was located in Copenhagen. But on Wednesdays, Club IN turned into Club Gorgeous, and it was heaven! 50 minute trainride from me in Sweden, we met people along the way, and it was always a blast! Me and my brother eventually got VIP-entrance to the club, and we were treated very well there, especially by a legend called Michael Splint and his then to be wife, Sasja.

Champagne would fall from the heavens and we went open to close more then once! This club had its haydays in 2001-2002 when trance-royalty like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Graham Gold, Cosmic Gate and many many more played there! And the atmosphere, it was crowded like, i dont know, and you could shake the DJs hand directly from the floor.

My humble tribute was a new take on my track Recitation, a little touch up. Not released, and it didnt make its way on to the internet much, it seems. But here it is! Enjoy!

Robert Lidstroem - Recitation (Tribute To Gorgeous Mix)

Another fairly unknown remix from 2003 by Paul Moelands (of Octagen and Re:Locate-fame!). I never knew this was made, even back in the day, but as i kept an eye out on the interwebs this came floating by. Its a proper great remix, by a really great producer. Paul went on to make huge tracks like Re:Locate - Waterfall and was a big name both for Galactive and Captivating (Armada), he also worked at Armada as Creative Director! Enjoy!

"Recitation", was actually all around in 2003! And what to do to gain more "roll"? Make a high-energy, 2min56sec Radio Edit, ofcourse! So i did! This was even kind of a "theme" for a promotional video by RotoR, a swedish eventcompany that had tranceevents at famed "Docklands" in Stockholm back in the day! See the video below!

Can you say "breakthrough". This is the one, the magic, the holy grail! The Misja Helsloot Remix was commisioned by the label, for the single release. It has a slower, different vibe to it, but boy did it hit! I will be forever in debt to Misja for making this, and his connection to Armin did help! Thanks to official "Lidstroem Sound Republic"-archive-worker @ericlidstroem for digging out this quite impressive info:
