ABOUT THE ARIA
From Masquerade, the third act in a trio of operas called Three Way. Masquerade takes place at a lavish suburban home. It’s a swinglife party, where people from all walks of life pursue their wildest erotic dreams. Couples in masks and robes have paired off in twos and threes. In this aria, middle-aged, country-club matron Connie explains her philosophy of multiple partners, with plenty of innuendoes.

An Il trittico for the Tinder generation, Three Way is a new opera about the present and future of sex and love with music by Robert Paterson (The Whole Truth) and a libretto by David Cote (Blind Injustice). In three playful acts, average heroes explore the worlds of android lovers, BDSM and polyamory in a quest for “more” in today’s hyperconnected and gender-fluid world. Zurab Janelidze's musical works explore emotions of abstract thought, such as those arising from an intellectual pursuit or conceptualization of one's dreams and desires. There is a strong emphasis on structure. While the music is in the classical style, it does not fit with the common boundaries of the classical musical form.

There are three broad types of music, categorized by the composition process. The "impromptus" are works based on once-off improvisations. This means that the music appears as it was played for the first time, without any prior work. The only post-performance modification that can be done to an impromptu is global key and tempto changes, and deletion of accidental notes (usually these are very few). In contrast, "compositions" are produced one motif or one phrase at a time. During this type of composition, a lot of time is spent on continuously reflecting on what has been composed in the composition process. The third type, "impromptu composition", is a mixture of the first two types. This means that some parts of the piece can be improvised while others composed, or merely that the improvised work is sectioned, adding repetitions and key changes. It can also mean that the impromptu is based on a motif or a phrase that was composed in advance.

The musical works presented here follow a common numbering system. Most of the time there are gaps in the numbers for consecutive works. This is either due to the omission of incomplete/failed pieces or they suggest a significant time lapse between consecutive compositions.

The following terminology is used in describing the structure of each musical work (work in progress):
- interval: a section of music enclosed between two fixed timestamps
- motif: smallest repeating structural piece
- melody: a repeating structural piece consisting of several motives
- unimotivic: revolves around a single main motif
- bimotivic: revolves around two main motifs
- unimelodic: revolves around a single main melody
- explorative: evolves without fixating on any particular motif 
- explomotivic: evolves starting from one or several motifs
- dynamic: characterized by high tempo and volume of sound
- interjective: characterized by sudden short dynamic insertions

American composer Robert Paterson is a true New Yorker—born and bred in Buffalo, he lived in Rochester and Ithaca for over ten years, in New York City for over twenty years, and now lives in Saratoga Springs, near the Adirondacks. Paterson’s colorful music embraces a wide variety of themes, everything from goddesses and online dating to mathematics and the environment. His music is filled with emotion and fierce rhythmic energy, marked by elegance, wit, and meticulous craftsmanship. Named Composer of The Year by the Classical Recording Foundation at Carnegie Hall, Paterson is the winner of the Alfred I. DuPont Award, and his opera Three Way won the Grammy® under Best Classical Producer of the Year. His music is often a Best of the Year pick on National Public Radio. His orchestral tone poem, Dark Mountains, regularly airs on NPR’s Performance Today. Three Way premiered with Nashville Opera, then BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), and across the United States. Minnesota Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, The Oratorio Society of New York, Buffalo Philharmonic, Albany Pro Musica, Albany Symphony, Musica Sacra, Austin Symphony, Vermont Symphony, and ensembles worldwide perform his works. Paterson gives masterclasses at the Curtis Institute of Music, New York University, the Aspen Music Festival, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and more. He is the Artistic Director and house composer for Mostly Modern Projects. Restore Worship Encounter is a worship centered video series with a focus on Jesus Christ at the center of our worship, and heart holiness worship in Spirit and in Truth through Kingdom restoration in the hearts of whosoever will come! Jesus said in John 4:21-24   "Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” and in Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God."
And the writer of Hebrews teaches us in Hebrews 13:14 "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord." We believe jesus is callin His Church to live as Holiness to the Lord in pure white garment without spot or wrinkle. Ephesians 5:25b-27 "...Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her  to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless." Jesus is not going to recieve a Church that isn't holy and pure! 
"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.  Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood." Revelation 22:14-15 That in order for us to see the fulness of Christ in worship and praise we must be purified within and without by the blood of Jesus and repent of all of the sins that this world is trying to distract us with, and allow God to purify us through His loving threshing floor and refining and chasening fire.  " If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with children; for what child is there whom a father does not chasten?  But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not God's children. Furthermore, we have had human parents who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:7-11 We are praying for God to Restore His Church, Revive us, Renew us,  and Resurrect to be united with Christ in His sufferings, death, resurrection and ascention into Heaven, a City on a Hill!
