Jackie Irving and I first demoed Things Left Unsaid 2-3 years ago.  It is a strange, atmospheric number that features a catchy chorus.  As part of my reimagining of some of my earlier recordings, I've rethought the guitar and drums and remixed the whole thing to improve clarity. Things Left Unsaid (2025 mix)

Running Out of Time was first written and demoed by me a few years back.  Jackie Irving rewrote the lyrics, while leaving the chorus pretty much intact.  It is a piano and guitar driven ballad with a soaring chorus that Jackie belts out.  I've redone the percussion, remixed the guitars and generally improved the clarity of the mix. Running Outta Time  (2025 mix)

More Than a Game was first written and demoed 3-4 years ago,  It's an interesting tune that has gone through a couple of musical iterations. The common element throughout has been Emily's vocal track which is really, really good.  This represents one of the final tracks that I will be revisiting as part of this effort.  In this instance, I've rethought the drums and remixed the whole thing for better sonic clarity.  I hope you like what you hear. More Than a Game  (2025 mix)

Now Here I Go Again was first written and recorded over 10 years ago.  I have recently been revisiting earlier recordings and with the help of AI technology, extracting vocal files and rebuilding the instrumental tracks.  This is one such example where I rethought the drums and keyboard parts.  Emily sings lead on this number. Now Here I Go Again (2025 mix)

No Way Home is probably my favorite song that I have written  It was first demoed about 5 years ago and I have recently isolated the original vocals using AI software and rebuilt elements of the instrumental track.  It's a piano driven ballad that has a guitar crescendo.   As part of my revisiting earlier songs, I have rethought the drums and keyboards on this version, and remixed the guitars to produce a clearer mix.  Emily sings on this one. Of all the songs I have written, No Way Home is probably my favorite.  It was first demoed about 5 years ago and I have recently isolated the original vocals using AI software and rebuilt elements of the instrumental track. It's a piano driven ballad that has a guitar crescendo. As part of my revisiting earlier songs, I have rethought the drums and keyboards on this version, and remixed the guitars to produce a clearer mix. I have also removed the piano intro on this version which seemed to drag a little. Emily sings on this one. Last Train Home is a rather recently written song that for a variety of reasons features my tortured vocals.  As part of my ongoing reworking of prior recordings, I have changed the drums a bit (to emphasize the snare and kick) and remixed the whole thing for the sake of clarity. This is a reimagining of another one of our earlier recordings.  The song is called It's Too Late and it's a breezy pop song with a swing feel to it. It’s Too Late (2025 mix)

Barrel of a Gun was first written and recorded about 18 months ago and like a few other songs here, it features my tortured (and sometimes autotuned) vocals.  It's a pretty upbeat songs with a few different musical influences (see if you can spot them).  I just sat down to bring the snare and kick further up in the mix, and messed around with a few other things to improve the sonic clarity. Barrel of a Gun (2025 remix)

Each and Every Day has been sitting on the shelf a few years.  Truthfully, I had forgotten all about it til I stumbled across an earlier demo the other day. I rerecorded the instrumental tracks the other evening and here is the product of that effort. The guitar hook is based on the intro to "You Can't Always get What You Want."
