Los Tigres del Norte es un grupo de música regional mexicana, denominada también música norteña (por haber surgido en el norte de México). Es una de las agrupaciones más reconocidas del género, debido a su larga trayectoria y a sus éxitos a nivel mundial. Su campo principal son los corridos, los cuales han sido censurados en varias ocasiones, incluso en su propio país.

La historia de Los Tigres del Norte se inicia en Rosa Morada, sindicatura del municipio de Mocorito, estado de Sinaloa, México, en el año 1968, cuando Jorge, el mayor de la familia Hernández-Angulo, convence a sus hermanos Raúl y Hernán y a su primo Óscar para formar un grupo. Por entonces Jorge sólo tenía 14 años. La precaria situación económica de la familia obligaba a todos a contribuir.

Sus primeros trabajos los encuentran en la cercana ciudad de Los Mochis, Sinaloa, donde tocaban en restaurantes. Poco tiempo después deciden trasladarse a la ciudad fronteriza de Mexicali, Baja California. Un día, cuando ya Jorge contaba 22 años, son contratados para tocar en San José, California, durante las celebraciones del 5 de mayo. Fue su primer viaje a los Estados Unidos; al cruzar la frontera, un agente de inmigración les preguntó por el nombre del grupo, el cual aún no existía; el oficial, al verlos tan jovencitos, los llamó: little tigers ("tigrillos"), pero luego les dijo que crecerían, así que los bautizó como Los Tigres del Norte.

Cuando llegaron a San José fueron escuchados por un inglés llamado Arthur Walker que, a pesar de no hablar español, les dio la oportunidad de grabar un disco. Les compró instrumentos y les proporcionó clases de música. Ese mismo año grabaron su primer disco, por lo que decidieron fijar su residencia en San José, hasta el día de hoy. Este disco fue conocido como «Juana La traicionera»/«Por el amor a mis hijos», el primer disco que editaron Los Tigres Del Norte.

Su estilo está basado en la música regional del norte de México, el cual se funda principalmente en instrumentos como el bajo eléctrico o contrabajo, el acordeón, el bajosexto, la batería, y en ocasiones se incluyen otros instrumentos de percusión. La lírica en sus canciones fluctúa entre lo romántico y el corrido, y han dado paso a un nuevo género letrístico musical, denominado narcocorrido, en el que narran vivencias de miembros (líderes, la mayoría) de bandas del narcotráfico que operan en México.

Han alcanzado fama en México, así como en muchas regiones del sur de los Estados Unidos, debido principalmente a la gran cantidad de comunidades de origen hispano que habitan allí.

Su repertorio musical incluye más de 55 discos grabados, y un total de aproximadamente 700 temas, incluyendo los lp's, discos compactos, cassetes, sencillos y remasterizados.

Hailing from provincial Italy, world class DJ & producer Benny Benassi is a name needing little introduction but always deserving of wide admiration and acclaim.  Indulging in a career spanning fifteen plus years, Benassi is renown as a humble, authentic and charming character who has grown from club DJ to festival king to multi-million selling record producer taking success in his stride. Trademarking his unique infusion of house and electro with his global smash “Satisfaction” Benny has continued to create music which is a clear evolution of this signature sound but never deviating too far. 

There is no better place to start delving into the rich history of the Benassi career than with his international blockbuster, “Satisfaction” and its game-changing music video became his launch pad into stardom. Created with his cousin and producer, Alle Benassi, and inspired by the car horns outside an open street facing window, this single catapulted into the charts with a #1 in France, #2 in the UK and Germany. Followed by his debut album Hypnotica, which reached top 20 across nearly all parts of Europe within the first month of release. 

The next few years for Benny were a culmination of successes, whether it be the major festivals he went on the play (Coachella, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland to name a few) or his next artist album, Rock N Rave in 2008. The same year he won a Grammy Award for his ground breaking remix of Public Enemy “Bring The Noise” further catapulting the Benassi name into stardom. 

In 2011, Benny teamed up with a star-studded album cast for his album Electroman which featured T-Pain, Kelis, Jean-Baptsiste and Apl.de.ap amongst others and most famously Gary Go with his chart-topping single “Cinema”.  The Skrillex remix of “Cinema” not only went Gold in the US and platinum in Australia and Canada but won the Benassi’s another Grammy whilst holding firm in the iTunes top 10 dance chart for over 6 months. 

Still on this exceptional career high, Benny Benassi combined talents with Chris Brown to create one of the biggest cross-over dance records of its time with “Beautiful People”. The following years have been a measure of incredible world tours and releases, most notably his record “Dance The Pain Away” with John Legend, which premiered live on stage at Coachella with John himself. 

2016 saw Benny released his first album in five years Danceaholic, an unexpected, stunning cocktail of already released tracks, two unreleased reworks of older singles and brand new songs, led by the hit summer anthem “Paradise”, once again with Chris Brown. “Paradise” stayed in the Top 50 UK charts for 10 weeks and boasts more than 65 million video views and close to 47 million Spotify streams. 

In recent years, Benny's main releases include “Everybody Needs A Kiss” featured US duo Sofi Tukker racking up over 10 millions streams online and was featured as the sound of gay pride for Musica.ly, "Lonely Nights" featuring Lil Yachty, interspersed with two great house-oriented tracks, "Inside" with Chris Nasty, performing well in clubs and on streaming platforms and "Everybody Hates Monday Mornings" with his own production outfit, BB Team, and featuring the eccentric and charismatic YouTuber, Canguro English.

Beyond his own productions he brought his sound to a wider musical audience with a flurry of high-profile remixes with the likes of Bob Marley & The Wailers, Giorgio Moroder, Madonna, Sean Paul and the Rolling Stones, to name but a few; whilst maintaining a weekly radio show on the US heavy-weight iHeart Radio broadcasting to a staggering quarter of a billion listeners monthly.

Michael, also known as Fame Sounds is a dj/producer from Seattle, WA. With over 15 years in the music industry Fame is no stranger to the scene. The FAME brand started in 2006 and with this name he traveled across the country djing and touring for around three years as a hip hop dj for Dizzy Wright. Around 2012 Fame found himself wanting to do more and decided to stop touring and focus on EDM in the amazing city of Las Vegas where Fame became locally known as on of the best. In 2014 Fame was voted as "Best Nightclub Dj in Las Vegas" Shortly after receiving this award Fame continued to work in the EDM scene in Las Vegas until 2015 when he decided it was time to move to the PNW and be in Seattle, WA. In 2015 Fame Decided to retire the name "FAME" for a few years and started up the dj duo known as DoBadlyy. With DoBadlyy making their mark in the bass music scene Fame decided it was time to make a return with the newly branded "Fame Sounds" Since the relaunch of Fame Sounds in 2020 he has launched into the Tech House sound and shows no signs of stopping, Fame Sounds is sure to rock any crowd and continues to bless the dance music scene with his music!

For Sam Walker and Gavin Royce, the question is the fundamental test of their studio output. Simple as it may sound, for this perfectionist pair it’s anything but. Their innate dance floor intuition, combined with years of experience behind the decks, drives them to create music that isn’t just playable — it’s irresistible.

First introduced by way of New York City's early-aughts dance music scene, Sam Walker and Gavin Royce first teamed up for a remix in 2011. The duo found early success on tastemaker labels like Crosstown Rebels, OFF Recordings, and Moda Black, scoring an Essential New Tune nod from Pete Tong with 2014’s “Sister.”  The indie dance and deep house sounds that informed Walker & Royce’s earliest work soon gave way to something different. Quirky accents and bouncy synths, previously deeper in the mix, leapt to the forefront, backed by a propulsive new energy. The success of their November 2015 “Bright Lights” remix was a clear indication that they were onto something.

In October 2017, Walker & Royce released their debut album Self Help on Dirtybird, which both showcased and expanded upon their now-signature sound. The guys enlisted numerous vocalists, including Green Velvet, Dances With White Girls, and Sophiegrophy, to make Self Help feel like a packed house party – while leaving no doubt about who was hosting.  Self Help was followed by further experimentation and growth. Sam and Gavin have collaborated with Claude Vonstroke, Ardalan, Chris Lake and VNSSA just to name a few as well as remixed Channel Tres, LP Giobbi, The Knocks, Justin Jay, Gorgon City, Mindchatter; and put out music on Relief, Black Book, HotBOi Records and more. Their Rave Grave EP was the inaugural release on Diplo’s house-focused imprint Higher Ground.  Continuing to push boundaries, they have launched their own label Rules Don’t Apply Records, with the ethos just as the name states…No Rules, just good music.

Walker & Royce have spent years honing in on their one-of-a-kind style, meticulously crafting the sounds they want their fans to hear in clubs, at festivals and in their headphones. The result is a cohesive, career-defining body of work that firmly places the duo at the forefront of dance music's future.
