The Psychogeographical Commission was formed at the start of 2008 to explore the many interfaces between the built environment and the people who inhabit it through dérive, magick and sonic experimentation.
After a great deal of time wandering the back streets of London and other large cities looking for the spirits which now dwell within them, we came to the conclusion that the psychological make-up of cities is now at odds with the populations inherent rural based mythology. People aren't evolving to cope with cities fast enough to keep up with the constantly shifting cityscape. 
To start approaching a remedy for this we set about creating music which blurs the line between the real and imagined landscapes in order to allow individuals to revaluate their own mythologies and provide new ideas to bring them closer to harmony with their urban surroundings.

Heiki (Hey-Key) is a veteran of the Toronto electronic music scene. Since 1987, Heiki Sillaste has released an impressive catalogue of well over 55 synthesizer-based records and made over 150 compilation appearances.

Heiki began his musical career fronting the internationally acclaimed industrial-tekno group DIGITAL POODLE in the late 80’s and early 90’s while running the now famous Shadow Canada label.

In 1995, he went on to co-found nice+smooth ultramedia, an independent electronic music label that has produced great records by fellow musicians such as Roy Davis Jr., Jordan Fields, Teknostep, as well as Heiki’s own groups KINDER ATOM, LAZER CAPS, LES FONTAINES and HOZERZ.

Heiki’s collaborative and remix work has been wide reaching, including work with the likes of dreamSTATE, Teknostep, Visionary, seminal ambient composers Rapoon and Zoviet France, Dead Voices on Air, as well reggae superstars Michael Rose and Musical Sniper.

Heiki currently works as a graphic designer and he owns and operates the Toronto based paper+sound record label.

Residing in Toronto, Canada…KiM Of DiamondZ has been making her mark in the underground music scene. Having played at many of Toronto’s most reputable clubs, including Fly Night Club, Century Room, Ultra Supper Club, Film Lounge, L’ily Resto and so many more! 

While travelling abroad, KiM has also managed to create an international reputation rocking dance floors in the U.S.A., London, Ibiza, & Ireland. While holding down a residency at Bru Bar in Ireland, KiM Of DiamondZ guaranteed a packed house and jumpin’ dance floor week after week.

Also known for her contributions to Irelands #1 radio station Kiss FM (99.1) “The KiMberley & Colin Show” was hosted as a means reach out to youth connecting through music and everyday experiences. 

Returning home to Canada, KiM continued to perpetuate her love for music & people hosting the Selective Sessions live stream, offering a 2hr mix, complete with live video and radio host. 

An infusion of jumpin techy tracks, upbeat percussion and signature vocals are what separates KiM from the main stream. Laying down a flawless mix each and every time, while also incorporating mixer effects that push the limits, behind the decks, KiM Of DiamondZ is well known as one of Toronto’s most energetic and technical DJ’s.
