Growing up as a kid, when I wasn't out riding my bike or getting into trouble, my face was glued to the Television watching various educational documentaries. I've always been a visual learner. One thing I love the most about the programs that were aired in the 70's/80's, was the background music. It was warm, it was tense, it was very engaging. Years later, I tried to recapture that feeling, by hunting down records that had the same sound. And then, I discovered Under Water library records. Ever since that moment, I have made it a point to grab every Under Water record I could get my hands on. I also begun to collect Nature documentary LP's. 

Our Beautiful World is a guilty pleasure mix that I have made, combining all of the Under Water and Nature film LP's I have collected over the years. It's made simply for nostalgic purposes. Either you like it, or you pass on it. There's something about drone like synth noises, combined with floating string sections, and bubbly Fender Rhodes that brings me back to eating cereal on the carpet with my favorite spoon. Enjoy!

Nothing groundbreaking, just a simple acid track….. but all the sounds were made using just a TB-303 as a sound source, by sampling into an MPC and truncating, filtering and layering. Even the hihats and metal sounds :)

The V/A EP features three tracks by previously unnoticed stellar talents: No Moon, Douala and S. Channel and one track by label owner Gnork. The aim is to capture the mystical awe of space, with its infinite beauty and unsettling weirdness.

Imre Kiss finally lands back on the Lobster Theremin mothership, this time with a reissue of his seminal tape album Midnight Wave. 

A seminal, bold and instantly nostalgic LP, Midnight Wave showcases Imre's immense ability to craft vivid landscapes of ethereal sound, infused with layers and years of emotional content. 

Culled from live-to-tape synth sessions in his once London abode, these tracks are the result of melancholic and restricted surroundings and trappings. 

What has emerged is a body of crackling, warm ambient and techno with a vast, cinematic scope. A sonic portrait of an alienated moment in London, told using industrial visceral tools and visualised through the cutting figure of a lonely individual boarding the 5am night bus home.
