More of a collective than a band, Mary Hestand, Sue Norman and Alan Tubbs were the spine of Rm101 and before that in NYC as Christ & the mermaid '69. Since Dickey Johnson started playing guitar with them, the music has taken a harder, rockier turn, even as more acoustic tracks have been worked up.  So, a new name for a new band -  a pleasure dome
