Since Christmas 2012, MusicAtelier is located in Treviso, a beautiful town in the region of Venice, in the charming historical neighbourhood of Borgo Cavour: it is a commercial space mainly specialised in Classical (also Historical) and Acoustic Guitars. We are selling Luthiery instruments from Entry-Level to High-Level.

MusicAtelier is therefore an ‘Athelier of Artists’, where - from time to time - each of the Luthiers who adhered to our Project literally shows their Instruments, making them available to Customers and Friends willing to have a look on them at their ease. The presence of skilled restorers is after all a specific trait of our Musical Centre, these are technicians able to advise, philologically restore and repair all types of Instruments.


Hence MusicAtelier offers a wide range of Wind Instruments and Bowed String Instruments. On our website there is a wide and varied online Shop, where everything you may need for your Music is available, from Consumable goods to every kind of Instrument. The best price through an easy ‘clic’.

In other words, our Venetian shop is meant to offer a wider range of products that the ordinary music shops. It is rather a sort of ‘bridge’ for Quality Offers, apt for study advancement, from the first years of school to professional musicians.

Finally, at our 8, Borgo Cavour address you will find a small collection of books (they are Second-Hand Books, though they are of absolute quality!), and also a rich section dedicated to New Scores. We also organise Events and Workshops in and with MusicAtelier.

Born and raised in Italy, Simbo is a philosopher of tropical nature who began to spin 70s disco vinyls during his childhood, highly influenced by his father records collection. He then become a dj and managed to pay his studies through the gigs. Right after university, he started travelling around the world and was amazed by all the musical and cultural links between Western and Central Africa and the Caribbean. Keen to discover and create encounters, he founded HAPE Collective with a bunch of friends in Havana in 2016, and then he exported the Collective to Chad and Italy, enabling a global dimension. After meeting Samy Gariboy in N'djamena, he started recording traditional rhythms and blending them with an electronic touch. This is how Pulo NDJ started.

...rane, grilli e musica elettronica Un gruppo di rane che gracidano nello stagno, i grilli che cantano tra i fili d'erba, un cane che abbaia alla luna. Sono nati così catturando i suoni della natura, i due album del musicista Sandro Gentile '' Sensazioni Vitali '' il primo, '' Danzalamà'' il secondo. Due lavori autoprodotti che sono ciascuno un viaggio nelle spirali della musica elettronica, ambient, drum' n' bass, etnica: trame sulle quali sono stati ricamati i canti della natura, registrati in parte nelle campagne trevigiane, in parte sul montello, in parte ancora nelle calde terre siciliane. Questi campionamenti soprattutto di '' Sensazioni vitali '' i cui sette brani di lunghezza variabile, dal minuto e venti di presa n.8, agli undici e venti di '' Atmosfere marine'' rimandano alle riscoperte tradizioni etniche europee, ma anche al minimalismo. Mentre in '' Danzalamà'' diventa atmosfera che avvolge gli sperimentalismi elettronici più arditi,un viaggio dentro le spirali della musica elettronica ,ambient ,drum’n’bass ,etnica: trame sulle quali sono stati ricamati i canti della natura, Iniziamo a dire che cos’è la musica: La musica e un bisogno dell’uomo insito nella sua natura, possiamo accorgercene di questo quando camminando ci viene da canticchiare un motivetto, Oppure con le dita tamburelliamo sul tavolo, la natura stessa che ci circonda ha la sua musica, anche se molte volte non la sappiamo ascoltare: Le onde del mare, Le foglie degli alberi mosse dal vento, Il canto degli uccelli ecc. La musica evoca emozioni: una musica dolce, lenta, “ci rasserena e ci rilassa”. Una musica triste ci provoca “malinconia”. Una musica marziale “ci attiva”. La musica è composta di suoni e ritmi: il suono e la sequenza di vibrazioni regolari, Il ritmo è la prima forma musicale che l’uomo conosce, Basta pensare al battito del proprio cuore, Oppure il ticchettio di un orologio, Il galoppo di un cavallo...
