You can say that a mash-up of cultures and musical influences have shaped DG’s style. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela, grew up in Los Angeles then transplanted to the Bay Area. In the San Francisco scene is where he kicked-off his music career as a resident DJ for some of SF’s biggest night clubs, in addition to launching 2 very influential Electronic Music radio mix-shows.

In 2005, he headed back home to Los Angeles, where he landed a job as a Pro Tools editor. During this time he sharpened his studio chops and was exposed to the world of music licensing for movies and commercials. While his interest and experience in this area grew, he was hired as the Music Supervisor for the influential Street Art Documentary “Bomb It.” That same year he teamed up with Grammy Nominated Remixer Richard Vission and cofounded Solmatic Records. Solmatic became an early home to artists like Avicii, Luciana, Morgan Page and Static Revenger. He has also done club remixes for Nelly Furtado, Snoop Dogg, Dave Aude, Carina Round and many others. 
  
DG's focus has mainly been on Electronic & House Music but through his travels he has gained a unique perspective and appreciation for all music. Presently, he continues to produce, remix and collaborate, with more enthusiasm than he has ever had before.

Grammy Nominated remixer and producer Richard Vission blasts speakers with heavy hitting beats while rocking dance floors and festivals around the world. With over 40 #1 Billboard Dance Chart remixes and an A-list clientele, Richard has stayed at the forefront of Electronic Dance Music.

His hit single “I Like That”, featuring Luciana and Static Revenger, has gone double platinum in Australia, peaked at #3 on iTunes, and became a favorite on dance floors around the globe. The video, with over 10 million views on YouTube, has been a staple on MTV internationally. 

Vission’s remixes of Lady Gaga, Major Lazer, Black Eyed Peas, Steve Aoki, and Madonna have found their way into countless DJ sets. In early 2013, Richard has new singles coming out on SPINNIN’ Records, Blackhole Recordings, Vicious and his own label, Solmatic Records home for singles by Avicii, Luciana, Static Revenger and Sven Kirchhof.

Along with selling over 2 million mix compilations, Vission hosts the longest running weekly EDM mixshow in the US, “Powertools” on Power106 Los Angeles.  Powertools weekly guests include a who’s who of the EDM world such as Laidback Luke, Afro Jack, Tiesto, Hard Rock Sofa, and Swedish House Mafia just to name a few.

Richard Vission and Luciana have teamed up again for new tune called ‘Primitive’ – another exciting furious track that will turn a few heads.

They each have a musical background in several different instruments as well as song writing. Combined, The BEATFREAKZ have over 24 years of deejaying experience. These two get behind the decks rockin' a 2x4 set and will take the crowd through a seamless journey of floor-pounding beats. 

Being a diverse team, these two can easily spin ANY genre the crowd desires; from dropping the dirtiest electro to FILTHY DUBSTEP to house to hip hop to salsa and everything in between. As if that's not enough, they also both throw turntablism in their sets. THE BEATFREAKZ have produced and remixed tracks that were available on 7 different websites. After dominating these websites and constantly being RANKED #1 producer month after month on most of the sites they were on, THE BEATFREAKZ were ready to take it to the next level. In April 2011, they opened their own site WWW.THEBEATFREAKZ.NET where they continue to release their club heat week after week, as well as taking on other producers who share the same passion for music and production that they do. 

Several of THE BEATFREAKZ tracks have been signed by labels such as Vibrance Recordings SF, Exclusive Recordings UK, and Twisted Plastic Records UK.

The FREAKZ have also been featured on radio shows across the world, including Ghetto House Radio (much love to our GHR peeps), which is broadcast on over 8 different radio stations including stations in California, Hawaii, Scotland, Texas, New Mexico, and Las Vegas. 

THE BEATFREAKZ take what they do very seriously, "this is not a hobby, music is our life, from the minute we wake up until we go to sleep, and sometimes even while we sleep..lol" 

The duo kicked off 2012 with two international tours, one in ASIA, and the other in CANADA, where they packed the clubs and pounded the dancefloors until the early hours of the morning. After returning back to the U.S., they continue to rock clubs across the US, city after city, night after night. "We are known for our high energy sets where we produce on the spot with live drumming and sampling; when we hit the club, we let our creativity take over, we feel the crowd, and let the beats flow through our blood...its time to get crazy and rock!"

In the winter of 2012, The Freakz headed back to Canada in to Headline “FREAK FEST”; in late summer 2013, they embark on their second Asia tour where they will rock the OFFICIAL HEINEKEN DJ TOUR Which will start in Taiwan, and continue on to clubs in Taipei, 
Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.  After the HEINEKEN DJ TOUR, The Beatfreakz will be back in Canada to Headline The Endless Summer Music Festival.
