An instrumental piece I produced during Covid lockdown in 2020 as part of a project funded through the Science Gallery, in which musicians could utilise the samples provided to compose a song in any style they wished.

Resident - Trailer

This is a reading of "The Woman Who Could Not Live With Her Faulty Heart" by Margaret Atwood, as read by Internet Archive user Falstaff.

I made this piece as a submission to a creator's group I'm a part of, in which we can submit shortform creative work in any format we choose. 

I've been curious to experiment with public domain archive audio for a while and found the Internet Archive a great resource. The reader of this piece submitted 178 recordings of himself reading poems to IA between 2004 - 2007 and something about the combination of this poem and his reading intrigued me. 

I worked with the audio for about 2 hours with no particular plan, just to see what the end result would be. Had I longer to spend on it, I would have loved to make it more of a binaural experience as well.

Falstaff's AtwoodWomanFaultyHeart

A short soundscape produced in 2014 as my final year minor project. Although now I can see things about it I would change, it was one of my first attempts at trying to tell a narrative through sound design and I think it more or less works in that respect.
