The Third Story

Andrew LeTo was born in Germany in 1981. He traveled through the country for many years and finally returned to his old roots and home. As a child he learned to play guitar and keyboard and he discovered his musical streak. Music has always been his world. He was interested in many styles of music. From rock, hip hop, trap, house, minimal, electro, chillstep, lounge, lofi and much more. He was particularly fond of electronic beats and a few years ago he began to produce music himself and to create his own melodic sounds and tones with the help of various equipment. A few months ago he decided to present his music all over the world. Music, he thinks, is balm for the soul and it gives strength and new wind in life and lets people dream. He says dreams are important and in our dreams we humans are all free. His future projects are still uncertain, but full of new ideas. All of you enjoy his works.

I am an amateur composer, producer and musician who has been inspired and influenced by music my entire life.  Beyond my interests in developing harmony and rhythm ideas, a song’s timbres and textures have always held a deeper emotional grip on me.  This passion for tone has dominated my compositions and productions, which are combined with playful melodies and progressions that are immersed in sophisticated soulful beats.

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors. Composer/Producer blending folk melodies with neoclassical vibes, and cinematic verve, my work is a mix of original compositions and contemporary arrangements of traditional tunes.  I hope you enjoy the music! 

Philleann (pronouced PHILLY-ENN) is a mash up of my name Phil and one of the instruments I play, the Uilleann Pipes.  I also play the Whistle and Accordion.

I'm a Brit now residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'm also a member of Bellow Bridge a traditional celtic folk band.
