Let's-a-go! Really excited to share this one with you guys! In my music class I'm taking in school, our culminating project was to challenge yourself to do something new. For me, I wanted to try to make a remix of a video game song and play the lead part live on my saxophone. I'll be the first to admit that my playing skills aren't top-notch, and it doesn't help that I don't have the best microphone to record it with, but in the end I think it came out pretty good! It seems that while Robotnik wreaked havok on the city of Starlight Zone to expand his industrialization in robot manufacturing, present Robotnik sent Scourge to collect the chaos emeralds. Sonic could be left powerless facing a Super-Scourge. Shadow later found out about this future and followed the hedgehogs through a ripple in time using the Phantom Ruby. Knowing this, Shadow embarked on a single mission in the future; To kill Scourge and take the Chaos Emeralds before Scourge or Sonic can obtain them. This however, also conflicted with Sonic's plans. Being good-willed, He has and never had any reason to kill anyone, even the most twisted of villains. But the important reason is because Scourge holds important information on where Past Robotnik is hiding so that this timeline can be undone.

Well, here's a fun mash up. For an SMPS Competition over at the SSRG forums, we had to make a version of the 8-Bit Sonic Spinball's Final Showdown music into a Mega Drive version. I heard it for the first time there, really liked it, and instantly heard this as a possibility.

Of course I had to do it. :> 

A mash up of that tune and Sonic 3's final boss, this was both good fun and a pain in the arse to make. It won the round, though, so enjoy! Take a listen to the others in that round too by registering at the SSRG forums and seeing the SMPS Competition sub-board, as they were all good entries this time.
