What the fre?.ᐟ
I play the music I love across many genres, vibes and emotions. It's hard to sum up my music taste as it's a from a quite diverse spectrum including many styles of kick-based house, tech-house and techno music. Most is funky/groovy or either emotional/beautiful or just bouncy/heavy but also lots of dark/deep/hard stuff as well. Tempo usually ranges between 120 and 140 BPM. I consider energy, flow, diversity and meaning as key ingredients to an engaging set.

That being said every gig has a different energy potential. Where I start and where I'll go will largely depend on the circumstances and prepared freestyling is my approach as you can only predict the vibe so far. Also it's more fun for me to go with the moment and you can't really plan the long sets that I love to play anyways.

My music library has gotten pretty massive over the years and is still constantly expanded by digging and organizing so I can rely on my crates. I put a lot of work and love in it and will always roll up with some new tunes to keep it fresh.

Constant dynamic layering is my how I mix. I use a lot of looping, filtering and beatjumping as well as my 12 effect units and more recently also live stem seperation. The DJ-Software I use (Algoriddim's DJay Pro AI) gives me a lot of creative possibilities with the custom mappings I developed for my control surfaces to get the most out of them.

Therefore I exclusively bring my own equipment to gigs. 4 Decks with over 30 carefully chosen and laid out actions/parameters per deck. The whole setup is tailored to my playstyle and I love to perform with it. I’m right at home there and it enables me to perform differently.

Headphones stay off as I don't need or want them. I prefer being in the room with the crowd mixing live on the soundsystem by relying on my experience and the visual cues from the stacked waveforms on my iPad. This constant ad-hoc mixing helped me learning to mix much more confidently due to the immediate feedback and the pressure of mixing everything in live.

I care a lot about a good vibe and a transcending dance. I tried a lot of things and learned so much since I got my first controller in 2020. Found so much inspiration in Berlin and I'm properly proud to have gotten to a point where I'd walk on any stage (within reason) confidently and have a blast. That's just crazy to me...

I like to believe I'm bringing a lot of joy to the dancefloor and that's what it's all about for me. <3

Hallo liebe Zuhörer , wir sind 2MalJan und wir freuen uns, dass du unseren Soundcloud Account gefunden hast :)

Den ersten Kontakt mit Techno hatten wir vor ca. 6 Jahren, als ein neuer Schüler in unsere Klasse kam. Unsere Soundcloud playlists bestanden am Anfang hauptsächlich aus Techhouse, Deephouse und  UK House. 
Schon nach kurzer Zeit packte uns die Lust selber Sets aufzunehmen. Also liehen wir uns einen Mini Hercules Controller von einem Kumpel aus und probierten einfach drauf los. 
Schnell merkten wir, dass wir mit der vorhandenen Hard- und Software nicht weit kommen und kauften  eigenes Equipment.  Mit der Zeit hörten sich die Sets langsam besser an, was uns zum Weitermachen motivierte. 
Außerdem entwickelte sich unser Sound langsam in die Richtung, so wie wir ihn heute in unseren Sets verwenden.
