English Singer and Rapper Maasai specialises in melodies and crafty wordplay in order to entise and create a welcoming and exciting experience for his listeners. Maasai works extremely closely with English producer KDMadeIt and the relationship has allowed creativity to thrive through great understanding. Maasai entered the music scene midway through 2018 after working in a student accomdation studio with two friends one being the producer to all his songs KDMadeIt and the other being engineer/ musician Shayi Aluwoade. This was Maasai's experimental phase.
In 2019 Maasai decided to take music more seriously from production to creation of songs to music videos. He started recording at “The Beatz Hub” whom have worked with the likes of Fredo and Loski in order to make the quality of product as high as possible. Along with this Maasai changed his whole previous style of music in order to cater for the large masses of U.K./ U.S. music fans and to compete with those already achieving success in specific fields.
Maasai has an aim to become one of the biggest names in the industry via his versatility and will to work.

One look at Rodney P’s discography illustrates a who´s who of the UK music scene. He has collaborated with fellow UK Hip Hop giants Skinnyman, Blak Twang and The Nextmen; featured on various Soul and R&B productions with artists such as Omar, Terri Walker and The Brand New Heavies; and appeared on dance and electro tracks with MJ Cole, Roni Size, The Stanton Warriors, Timo Maas and recently, French producer/DJ Flore. More unusual affiliations with artists like Bjork and Nitin Sawhney demonstrate his role as a genre defying emcee as well as reflecting his own diverse musical taste.

Constantly in demand as a live performer, he has performed across the globe to fans in Europe, China, Japan, Australia, America and numerous African nations. For the last few years Rodney has extensively toured with The Dub Pistols, performing to huge audiences around the world as well as maintaining his partnership with DJ Skitz. During the summer of 2010 Rodney P and Skitz, along with a handful of other acts joined forces with Chai Wallahs and performed at festivals across the UK including Bestival, The Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury.

2012 began a new chapter with the signing of a multiple album deal on Tru Thoughts, which will see the release of eagerly awaited new material. The first of that new material is the “Sleepin’ Giantz” album released in 2012. Sleepin’ Giantz is the coming together of three great minds – Rodney P, Zed Bias & Fallacy. Forging links between Hip Hop, Grime and Dubstep their debut album was released on Tru Thoughts in 2012. Zed Bias is the main musical alter ego of the Manchester based producer Dave Jones, one of the founders of Break Beat Garage. Rodney P has been widely regarded as the Godfather of British Hip Hop. Fallacy is the missing link between grime and UK Hip Hop. Together they are Sleepin’ Giantz.

Rodney has also just begun work on a brand new series for the YouTube sensation SBTV called ‘Skooled By’. The aim of the show is to pay some respect to the artists that helped pave the way and form the foundation of the Urban UK music scene.
 
As an artist and performer Rodney P never stops trying to please his ever growing fan base and with plans to release some previously unreleased London Posse material in 2013, as well as working on his eagerly anticipated new solo album fans of the ‘RiddimKilla’ should be excited by what the Future holds in store.
