I wrote this song in 2013 that was inspired by purchasing online song reviews.  When I looked deeper into what these reviews actually were I realized I had been duped.  Some of the so called reviews were horrendous and created by anyone willing to sign up to be a reviewer with the hopes of making some money by the amount of reviews generated. Please be careful what you pay for as a service online for your music.  I had a blast playing guitars on this song that included both rhythm and lead and reminded me of the good old country rock and roll I love.  I also enjoyed my own version of trash talking in a song and I laugh every time I listen.  Oh the review that talked about the banjo I played was ridiculous as was the comment about Cher and Elvis. There was no banjo on that song however I did start to fantasize I was the secret love child of a fling between Cher and Elvis until I realized Cher would have been only eleven to have me 😂

Music is a gift to all of us through history, through the decades, to right now. 
Every generation has music and songs that shaped its youth and when that generation ages those same sounds are recalled and loved even more so. It is true music becomes "like fine wine, sweeter with time". I am part of the boomer generation and the golden age of singer songwriters and so grateful to have the privilege of growing older.  If you're in your youth now I bet the music you love will follow you through your life as you age when new and different generational music is the trending sound of the day. A little bit about me...
I have written songs and played the guitar since I was a child.  I always dreamed that some day I would do something with my music.  Before I knew it I turned 50 in 2007 and finally did something with the hundreds of songs I have written.  I started to record them and share them online with you.  This dream has become my journey and destiny in the later years of my life.  If you have a dream follow it.  Remember "better later then never".
