NEMIKA è una cantante, songwriter, triple performer italiana.
Comincia a lavorare al suo primo album solista con l'etichetta Fonjka Factory.
Il progetto nasce nel 2011 e si ispira ad artisti come Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Skrillex, Nero e Subsonica.
La sua è una musica forte, diretta, con un taglio pop, ma influenzata pesantemente da generi dance/electro fino a raggiungere picchi dubstep.
I testi in italiano, molto impegnati, scomodano temi di grande spessore e di estrema attualità.
Questi due elementi contrastanti, che solitamente non coesisterebbero, si fondono e vengono domati dalla straordinaria voce potente e graffiante di NEMIKA.

NEMIKA is an italian singer, songwriter and triple performer.
After developing her career on stage, she started to work in her first studio album with Fonjka Factory label.
The project began in 2011 influenced by artists like Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Skrillex, Nero and Subsonica. The concept of NEMIKA's Project is to mash up dance and commercial music with the lyrics that talk about serious themes, such as social and political issues. During an interview she said: "I love strong music that makes me dance and sing with all my energies.. In the meantime, the necessity of understand this world comes to me 'cause I feel that there is something wrong. The music I make, is the tool that help me to find all the answers that I'm looking for".

Ever since a young age, Tony Gear wanted to be a performer. Whether on the stage or a sports field, he has always felt most at home in front of audiences. Throughout his education he was constantly surrounded by music and sung in many bands which has continued into adulthood. With such a versatile voice Tony has been asked to front jazz, rock and covers bands but his true passion is refining his own style.

His music has been described as a fusion of rich RnB melodies and jazzy chords with latin rhythms and pop rock solos. On his song writing which he honed whilst completing a degree in popular music performance at Vocaltech in 2007, he says “I believe it is my parents’ tastes that have shaped the songs I write. During my childhood I listened to bands like Simply Red and Fleetwood Mac to artists including Nat King Cole and Stevie Wonder, who is a huge inspiration. I really got into songwriting in my teens and I was frequently late down the pub on a Friday night because I stayed in to watch Top of the Pops on television!” Being very open about his life and loves, he writes songs from the heart about his experiences and emotions. ‘Seductive Beauty’ has a strong salsa vibe and draws on an experience on a rendezvous with a girl in a club whilst signature track ‘Notre Dame’, is an electric guitar driven number about a day trip to Paris. 

In November 2009 Tony reached the Live and Unsigned Final with a beautiful acoustic ballad titled ‘For Eternity’ which was critically acclaimed by the judges. Since then Tony has continued to perform on the London circuit as a four piece, building a fan base and getting his music heard. He feels he is still far from the finished article as his music is constantly evolving but hopes as many people as possible can enjoy his music and continue with him on his journey.


This is one of my musical project (the oldest), more focus on house-ish, electro stuff and everything that doesn't fit my other project vibe.
