Jon Hussey(@jonhussey) is a DJ and producer based in Dublin, Ireland. He has been in the scene since the early nineties and has contributed greatly by hosting parties and promoting techno ever since. He made this two hour set for us showcasing a variety of techno styles mixed flawlessly.

For some time now, Irish DJ and producer Sunil Sharpe has been honing (no pun intended) his skills as a formidable floor destroyer, putting out a string of memorable burners for the likes of Works The Long Nights, BPitch, MORD or his own imprint, Earwiggle. Delivering his implacable two-hour missive through blends of breaks-laden rhythms, frenzied machine talk and murky, weatherbeaten ambiences, Sunil Sharpe boggles the mind and knocks senses askew, not letting loose on his astonished prey - understand the odd raver bracing themselves for the blast incoming. Unless they’ve already bashed their skull in the system’s facade and got to taste the visceral high of sound flowing through their body. You think it’s an image, but the man is a literalist.

Step into Broom's Dojo and be met with a sausage Apocalypse, as the UK techno Magus flays alive your wildest dreams using his brace of bangers. With snake-like precision this chimera of the shadow realms pounds techno oblivion from his production line. Sparks fly as gleaming loaves of acid-soaked brilliance fly out the bakehouse door, the master bakers eyes spinning like electronic roulette wheels - out of control under delirious bass weight. Enshrouded in the blue haze of the shamans gourd pipe, Mr Mark Broom is again set to blow the back doors off any club this side of Basildon.
