3 QUESTIONS to BUDAKID:


Q: As HOW I MET THE BASS recently had a lot of older acts, you´re probably the youngest. So your history of music isn´t that old yet. Tell us about your selection – why did you choose these tracks? 

A: I started collecting music when I was around the age of 14 (almost 13 years ago) . It was just a hobby of me together with a couple of friends. We spent hours on the internet looking for tracks that made us crazy. The music doesn't sounds that far to be honest, haha. But for me these are the tracks I grew up with. 

Q: The Kid has seen a lot from the world already. Few days ago you played at the Great Wall of China. Any more exciting places to tell about?

A: Yes, I'm totally surprised by everything that crosses my path at the moment. Couldn't imagine this a few years ago. There are a few more nice things coming up, but I can't tell anything about it 

Q: Which fresh and hot Budakid projects are on the way?

A: I'm working on some collaborations, remixes and some own compositions. I also got some new music coming up, so keep an eye on my socials!

3 QUESTIONS to BAIME:

Q: How did you meet each other and how did you get into producing together? So: Who is Baime?

A: We actually met online! And shortly after met at Q and A in Copenhagen where we both live, it’s about 6 years ago and one year later we joint together as Baime because we both where eager to create something that made sense musically to us as artist and DJs.

Q: When regarding your roots, many early influences appear. What do these tracks still mean to you?

A: Many of the tracks in the mix we still listen to from time to time and some of them we even would play today. These tracks are some of the Electronic Music that shaped who we are musically today and they are still great for Inspiration. 

Q: Which Projects will be hot after the Corona shutdown - what to expect from you guys in the future?

A: As many others we are using this time to reflect on who we are and where we are going. When things get back to “normal” the game may have changed and we are definitely trying to stay on top of things both as Baime and with our record label Blindfold Recordings.

Episode 23 of The Animals Mix Series is a collaborative project between Elias Broski and Danny Dobs consisting of predominantly chilled tunes.

Elias compiled the tracks, Danny sourced and mixed them.

What stemmed from an idea of Elias', came a fun and interesting undertaking culminating in a deep and emotive journey being created together by two close friends.
