3 QUESTIONS to BUDAKID:


Q: As HOW I MET THE BASS recently had a lot of older acts, you´re probably the youngest. So your history of music isn´t that old yet. Tell us about your selection – why did you choose these tracks? 

A: I started collecting music when I was around the age of 14 (almost 13 years ago) . It was just a hobby of me together with a couple of friends. We spent hours on the internet looking for tracks that made us crazy. The music doesn't sounds that far to be honest, haha. But for me these are the tracks I grew up with. 

Q: The Kid has seen a lot from the world already. Few days ago you played at the Great Wall of China. Any more exciting places to tell about?

A: Yes, I'm totally surprised by everything that crosses my path at the moment. Couldn't imagine this a few years ago. There are a few more nice things coming up, but I can't tell anything about it 

Q: Which fresh and hot Budakid projects are on the way?

A: I'm working on some collaborations, remixes and some own compositions. I also got some new music coming up, so keep an eye on my socials!

What an honour it was to spin for the Temple of Boom legends at Sunset on the Sunday of Burning Seed 2018. 

Re-recorded my set as it was distorted, but here it is again track for track, some of my absolute favourite tunes, past and present :)

Kept it melodic with lashings of spice here and there for some extra kick 🌞

Temple of Boom / Burning Seed 2018

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a recording from one of my sets and this seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to kick my ass back into line. From the loving people to the friendly giving ethos, the wholesome community vibe and the unforgettable moments - last weekend out at Burning Seed was a rather incredible experience.

This recording is from my set at the Pelican Villa theme camp on Sunday night from 1am after the Equinox Events boys and before the brother Pat Tassone - a huge thanks to the crew for having me on board, it was by far one of my highlights of the whole week.

Featuring some of favourite deep/progressive tracks of the moment including previous and forthcoming releases on Recovery Collective and tracks from artists such as; Stan Kolev, Martin Waslewski, Jordan Hoko, Soba T, Lunar Plane, Folie A Deux, Niko Schwind, Aves Volare, Luke Avalon, Jamie Stevens, Reinier Zonneveld, Solomun, Andreas Henneberg, Stefano Richetta, Khainz, Steve Bleas and MIDAS 104.

We are proud and honored to present Bloom Podcast # 141.
On this episode we have the pleasure to have Francesco Pico from the Netherlands. A man that has been in the scene since 1991. He´s been part of enourmous labels with his productions, such as Global Underground, Audio Theraphy (Dave Seaman), Outside the Box ( Eelke Kleijn), Manual Music (Paul Hazendock) and many others, as well as having his own label Magnitude Recordings which recently came to light "again" and with full power after a short break.

In this set he definitley showcases his skills as a producer and dj, delivering a 3 hour studio set which will take you into a very deep journey, make no doubt about it.

Episode 23 of The Animals Mix Series is a collaborative project between Elias Broski and Danny Dobs consisting of predominantly chilled tunes.

Elias compiled the tracks, Danny sourced and mixed them.

What stemmed from an idea of Elias', came a fun and interesting undertaking culminating in a deep and emotive journey being created together by two close friends.
