Här är en gammal megamix från 1995 cirka med låtar av The Prodigy från skivan Music for the jilted generation. Jag hade ingen annan utrustning än min stereoanläggning. Inspelat på ett Akai kassettbandspelare med knappar med Micro brytare. Jag kunde va så pass säker på play och recknapparna att jag kunde trycka igång inspelningen någon millisekund före beatet kom. Det som låter lite mixat är endast de som hamnar i lager på bandet då man backat och pausat. Detta är ingen rullbandspelare utan en helt vanligt kassettdäck med 2 kanaler. Har gjort fler megamixar på detta vis för att täcka upp en hel sida av ett kasettband. Hittar jag bara dessa lägger jag ut dem med.

Hi, my name is, hi my name is hi my name is Robert!
I’m a DJ/music producer living in Sweden.

My music influences goes way back to the 70s when I began to listen to Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre. Actually I didn’t truly discover JMJ until I saw him doing Houston Concert in 86. I wish I had been to that concert in IRL but it was broadcast on Sweden’s national television. 11 years later I had the privilege of seeing JMJ live at Globen, Stockholm in 1997. It was like he had brought a Star Wars laser war inside. 

I have been fiddling with analogue synthesizers since the beginning of the synth pop era in the early 80s. I never had the money to buy one but I truly lived inside our local music store after school until I had to go home for dinner. The store had all the cool now vintage synths like Roland’s Jupiter 8.
I was such a nerd I drew one on paper with color pencils from the images I hade in my mind. Not a small one but true 1:1 scale. I wanted to play Airsynth. Yeah it’s a thing as airguitar.

I started collecting lots of electronic music on Vinyl and I did own two Technics turntables, one 1200 and the other one 1210. The difference was silver and black but if I remember correctly was the 1210 a newer edition. I started DJing at home and was actually really good at scratching because I began to listen to old school rap. As I listen to Afrika Bambaata I learnt that he was influenced by Kraftwerk and even sampled them for his epic track Planet Rock.

Electro was born and I never stopped listening to Electro. I have a favourite new German artist Anthony Rother who has taken the classic Electro sound to the 2020s.

As I discovered more artist and as I had Jean-Michel Jarre as my biggest idol from France I studied French in school and began to love there mentality.
Lately I have listened to a lot of great modern electro techno artist from France. Almost all of my favourite are French and Daft Punk aren’t really one of them.

As I begin to listen to techno as an amateur DJ I discovered Orbital from the UK.
The first tune I heard was P.E.T.R.O.L. Nothing I ever heard was like this tune. They truly became famous with that tune as they was featured on the soundtrack to the game Wipeout on Playstation1.
A lot of techno ambient artist was featured in that soundtrack to. Primarily UK bands.
Orbital became my second idols after JMJ and the album In Sides from 1996 is truly a masterpiece. Even the Hartnoll brothers aka Orbital believe so too. I’ve seen them twice in Stockholm and the first time they played so loud that I thought Stockholm had an earthquake that night.
The bass was so massive the floor under me and my younger brothers feet where vibrating.
My brother is an even bigger fan of Orbital. The concert was so insane, I never had been to a rave before but this was legal and the music was the drug they delivered to us.

I still listen to Orbital and I have maybe listen to InSides more than JMJs Oxygene from 1976.
I know the notes as I play on my airsynthesizers even when I never did truly learn to play piano and keyboard.

I now own several real synthesizers but I have never recorded some of the tunes I produce.
I now did have a go to do a DJmix of a Swedish female artist called Min Stora Sorg. Her real nickname is Anso. She writes and plays and produce her own music and she such a feminist out of her all of her body and her voice is so sensual. The tune Nära Mig, Close to my body in English, is so sexy you are embraced by Ansos mentality and voice you just wanna slowdance to the tune but it’s really a fullblod rave techno song. The mix is done with a tracker with sampleloops and the song is mashed up to something totally insane 80s style.
