Kid Funky J has been a breaks DJ for 22 years in and around Toronto and the GTA. His credits have been but not limited to having the pleasure spinning at parties ranging from breaks, hip hop and house his whole career. 

 Kid Funky J was introduced to Dope Radio in Toronto which was a weekly  break-beat radio show hosted by Marty Mcfly. He was also introduced too and spun at an event called Breakfest; a weekly underground Sunday night including clubs like El Mocambo, Systems Sound Bar, Government’s Orange Room, Turbo, Apothecary, Fuse Room and Aria that put Toronto's break-beat DJ's on the map. 

Eventually making a name for himself, Kid Funky J has spun with local 416 DJ's Marty Mcfly, Farbsie Funk, Jay Nu-Funk, Big League Chu, Robb G, Dave Sadler, Dirt Bike Kid, DJ Meric, Rafunk , PhatTrick, Demonic, Phat Conductor, Dave Dub, Wes the Electrician, Myagi, Stevie G, Red Turtle and Melting Man. He has also spun with the likes of international DJs like Krafty Kuts, Fort Knox 5, Freestylers, Skeewiff, DJ Love, DJ Czech and Hip Hop artists the Alkoholiks and J5. 

He now resides in Burlington and has had residency at many lounges and clubs in Toronto, Burlington and Hamilton.  Kid Funky J's break-beat and house music sound is a blend of funk, soul and old school hip hop and has proven time and time again that he can rock any dance floor and every crowd.
