Acid Pauli closed out an historical Saturday night which saw the first live music to emanate from New York City’s iconic Wollman Rink in 43 years with a masterful performance . 

His set celebrates the moment, the musical history at the venue, and transported all of those in attendance from the streets of New York, to Berlin, to Burning Man, and beyond. 

Walking out of Central Park at the close of his set on top of the Robot Heart Bus, the energy still high, the group encountered another art car with a party starting in the street at 59th and 5th Ave. Heard wafting through the crowd, the sentiment of “are we even in New York?” seemed unanimous. 

We hope you enjoy the set, and these beautiful memories. As Acid Pauli reiterates, "the music speaks for itself".

Acid Pauli - Robot Heart - Fare Forward - Central Park 2022

Thanks to a beautiful twist in time, we welcomed Unders to close The Seekers of Light ADE '22 showcase on the Saturday Day Event. This closing slot was initially meant for Viken Arman, but as it happen our Viken missed his plane. The upside of hosting events during ADE is that you likely find a replacement that you love and adore.

IN COMES UNDERS! He was on his way out after successfully hosting his own showcase on Thursday, but lucky us we managed to snatch him before he left.

A magnificent set followed! The element of surprise in this last minute performance carried out throughout his performance and he managed to take us on the perfect journey.

Perhaps his best performance in our Babylon up to this date.. What do you think?

Unders - The Seekers of Light ADE Showcase 2022

There is no other city, no other party, no other floor in the world where we can showcase our music as naturally as we can here, in the place our style was born and crafted. 
It goes without saying that it's extra special to play for our dear friend Mira's birthday bash, surrounded by our loving friends in our living room. It felt like home and we enjoyed every second of it!

The custom built DJ booth is nestled into the heart of the lounge room, surrounded by cushions, couches, and lovely creatures. An ideal setting for me to feel comfortable and connected with the audience. It feels like home and invites me to explore the full range of my collection with confidence and flow. The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. I’m happy to present you what happened to be a true adventure & a musical highlight for me this year, Journey to Tarab 2019.

The story takes place in two chapters, recorded on the Drachen Nest Saturday night in Zsambek, Hungary.

CHAPTER I

It’s 7:45pm and I’m in the DJ booth of the Drachen Nest, my equipment is connected and I’m ready to play. In the center of the dancefloor, a beautiful tandem are performing live with a super cozy setup & I discover the talented duo Ameli Paul. The stage manager gives me a sign that it’s their last song, and I have my intro tracks and samples selected - I’m ready to go and ecstatic to play. 

As my first track is playing, it only takes a few minutes before the wind blows dark and dense clouds hover above our heads. The rain starts pouring; showers. I look down for only a few seconds to mix in the next song but by the next time I look up, everyone has vanished.

A small group of people with the most vibrant energy came to seek shelter in the booth and it truly cheers me up. I’m so excited to be there and I know that such heavy rain won’t last long, staying optimistic that people will come back.

As the rain calms down, people come back, one by one. Umbrellas, raincoats, mud & smiles. The crowd continues to grow and I get to meet my dance floor one person at a time. The rain has stopped. The Drachen is blowing smoke while the sun disappears & I feel the dance floor is finally in symbiosis. I evolve tempo by a few BPM & as my most energetic track of the set drops…

B L A C K O U T. No sound, no light, it is total darkness on the dance floor, a complete power outage.
