Blondish Get Physical on the Bus, Robot Heart 2012

I grew up listening to classical, metal, disco, big band, Motown, doo-wop, top 40, and most importantly house - the kind of house cross influenced by techno given the relationship between Chicago and Detroit in the early 90’s when my young ears soaked in all they could. Music is one of the most important influences in my life. I’ve learned and played several instruments, beat matched and mixed when vinyl was the only option, and messed with equipment ranging from a Casio keyboard to a Jupiter 8, Moog, and more. My support for talented artists who work hard to develop and maintain their craft is unwavering. I want to live in a world where I’m free to move to any sound that makes me feel I want to dance.

Robot Heart is a collective of doers and dreamers, artists and entrepreneurs. Our home is in the desert dust of Burning Man, and the streets of New York City, Detroit, Bay Area and Hong Kong. Home is wherever the Heart is.

Robot Heart is a community and a family, and our events are an extension and celebration of that community, bound together by shared values of inclusion, giving, environmental responsibility and mutual respect.
