This mix was created when Damian and Martin joined forces in a rare musically alternative back to back session when they met up in Tulum  after having played The Day of Dead in different cities around Mexico. 

We hope you enjoy the first 90 minutes of this session as we count down the days until these two forces of nature collide again for DAY ZERO at the magical pyramid site Chanolandia outside Playa Del Carmen on the 11th of January 2014

Ohhh... burning man.. where do we start? Running into new and old friends, the butterflies in our stomachs, adventures , cruising and endless synchronicities are all part of the magic we've experienced each of the 5 years we've been coming to this parallel universe. 

This year was a bit different.. we had just finished our album, and had been anticipating playing a few of the songs from it on the Robot Heart Bus.. This was a moment that we've been waiting for a long while.. and there are really no words to describe the feeling when that moment came. We are grateful for every second.

Lee Burridge - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2016

Every year on the Playa brings new lessons. Some are complex, some are simple reminders. For the two of us this past year, the message was "back to basics." As hyper-analytical DJs, we're prone to focusing on performance from a critical viewpoint: did we gauge the energy level correctly, were our transitions dialed in? But this year, playing after the sunrise on Friday, seeing so many friends and campmates out for a morning dance reminded that the point of all this is a simple one: coming together and sharing moments of joy. A wonderful and welcome wake-up call. Thanks to Robot Heart for setting the stage!
