Returning to this utopia in the desert is a dream each year. Having the Sunday slot in my mind for weeks had me thinking I would take it easy leading up to it. I was mistaken. Together with Britta, the Happy Camper gato's and our favourite Robot LEN10 we roamed the desert like there was no tomorrow. Ended up having one of the best weeks of my life and happened to be my perfect warm up to play Robot Heart.  Surrounded by some of my favourite humans on the planet the set came together by relying on ease, love and gratitude.  

Much love to all the shiny disco balls dancing all over the bus & the Playa for the warm hearted support and off course the robots for having me and welcoming me and my friends with open arms. I loved it.

Daniela is undeniable. The spark, the firestarter, and the torchbearer, Daniela contains over 30 years of dance music history in her bones, her veins, her DNA.. and you hear it echoing in her sound. A DJ and music producer based in Brooklyn, NY, Daniela is the founder and resident DJ of Deep Playa NYC and all female talent series Her Name Is Shakti. She is also the Music Director of Calling All Magical People aka CAMP festival, sound stage designer for Love Burn and CAMP, producer of two microburns and one Burning Man camp, and also serves as Sisters in Sound NYC chapter head. While her musical styling at night journeys into mind-bending, hypnotic, deeply emotional, and powerfully tribal, during daytime or post-sunrise she prides herself on seamlessly sailing through a vast array of genres, from playatech to techno, acid house to tribal house to prog house, to disco, italodisco, and so much more.
