Zender:
Leading a double life as a DJ and freelance graphic artist, Zender spends most of his time behind computer monitors listening to music. This has resulted in an extensive taste for music that ranges from exotic disco to soul-drenched house music, laidback hip-hop to world music, organic house to uplifting techno, and everything in between. Zender has been collecting records from a very early age. Key to his DJ sets is feel-good music. He aims to play music that lifts the mood and leaves a happy crowd behind.

Zender has organized various events and festivals in the past (Costa del Soul Festival, Nachtspelen, Koma), but lately, he has been very busy with his illustration and design work.

I’ve been DJing for several years and am currently resident DJ at Carpet Burn at Eagle London.  I have played at various venues and nights including Duckie, Bender, Cybil’s House, Fruité, Dalston Superstore, Athena 80s, The Cock Tavern, Beefmince Tea Dance, The Tiger E9, Madame Jo-Jos, 06 St Chad's Place and The Edge Soho. I have also had guest mixes featured at Midnight Riot Radio, Influx Radio and Telegraph Hill Radio.

At the moment I mainly play funky disco-based party tunes but have wide tastes.
